Why are ppl thinking of trading Hampton. Breakeven 31 so should be still able to make more cash ??
Sometimes you have to cull rookies early to make cash to upgrade. Depends how you want to play the game. If you're playing for leagues only you can probably hold for another week at least. If you're trying to finish as high up overall as you can (which a lot of people on here are) you need to upgrading fairly consistently from now on and you have to make cash from somewhere ;)

Can also come down to byes. Lots are struggling to field 18 in round 11 and with the Crows having the later bye I'm holding on to Hampton and Otten until at least then. Will use them to upgrade after that horrible bye to guys like Docherty/Roberton

If I do Parfitt to either of Parsons or Black I would be able to upgrade Greene to Bont or Pendles.

Should I do that or hold Greene?

I'm assuming you have Nank as well? If so it will tough to cover all bases.

Yep. I am very likely in need to trade a rookie or Greene to ensure I have sufficient numbers and cover.

Really need Eddy and Barrett to get back out there and start making some money!
All the rookies I have ready to cull are scoring well enough to hold

Spot on. Also, Otten, Marchbank and Hampton all look like peaking around the same time, so you may as well trade out the lowest scorer of the three first. Obviously keeping him is preferred as he still has more money to make, but can see why people are doing it.

after a shower week and dropping to 30,000

im going

parfitt/houston>parsons

otten>roberton

going for PODS now

Love the Roberton trade, but unfortunately my Rd 11 bye is almost totally fornicated ( wonder if that rates flowered ) But then my team is also totally flowered so perhaps the byes no longer matter. But perhaps in a last act of responsibility  Parfitt  to  Parsons (if named).  Then Marchbank to T Adams.

:-\

OR  Using DPPs

Parfitt and Hampton  to  T Adams  and  M Hibberd

Any thoughts ??  Leaves Balic and Houston on the field up forward but may benefit in the long run as defence was pretty weak.
;)

Anyone know what Pendles will go up in price if he scores a 150?

Didn't realize that.. could possibly double down again this week then to have a few upgrade weeks to come

sammy123

had to change my original trade of bringing in roberton i now bring in adams to cover my mids for the week

tor01doc

I do not believe that cover is so very important if it forces a dodgy trade for only a week or at most 2.

Avoiding donuts is the most important and with a bit of luck (an unfavourable fixture and late withdrawals notwithstanding) most often cover is not needed.

I have Pickett, Barrett and Eddy (and Nank and Strnadica) and may just hold this week as neither Black nor Parsons really excite me.

Maybe Parsons but then who goes is a headache.

Tbh I kinda wish that we could use 3 trades a week if we wanted to.

That way, I could trade out JOM, and then bring him back in as my 2nd trade, only to trade that absolute spud out again with my 3rd.

Ah well, a man can dream.

$483K for Heater Shaw is too hard to refuse. Especially with Haynes out injured now.
