Just doing a little bit of research if I end up going with a double down and wanting Bont next week:

Does anyone think Matty Boyd can pick it up again this year?  Same role.  Is age catching up with him or are Bob/JJ eating away at his points?

Bob and JJ are eating into his points IMO.

They both went down early last year when Boyd wasn't doing much and then all the sudden he had to pick up the slack and was killing it for the rest of the season.

Agree, was their main guy last season while the others weren't there. 6 rounds in and he's already been hit with the general too. His Supercoach days are over.

The next generation is here now: Adams, Laird, Docherty and Lloyd are all 23 turning 24 this year, all look like top candidates.

Ok I'm in a real spot of bother this week. My original trade was going to be upgrading Omeara to Bont & Hampton to Myers via moving Adams back Into defence.
But know with both Greene and Nankervis out I'm not sure what to do.
Have Nankervis in my ruck with no cover.

Ruck: Sandilands, Nankervis (Stran)
Fwds: Daulhaus, Lynch, Greene, Roughead, WHE, Butler (Balic, Eddy)

Didn't want to trade in a ruckman this week or even a fwd/ruck and I have other areas that are just as bad.
Hampton, Otten and especially Omeara have to go before bringing in a ruckman.

I might have to cop a donut in the ruck  :-\

If I do Parfitt to either of Parsons or Black I would be able to upgrade Greene to Bont or Pendles.

Should I do that or hold Greene?

I'm assuming you have Nank as well? If so it will tough to cover all bases.

Playing round with a few ideas currently.

The first trade is Hampton>McNiece

the second not sure.

Parfitt > Parsons/Black 400k in kitty.

Then the following week Butler and Houston to Yeo and Heeney with the cash.

Leaves my fwd line: Dahl, Macrae, Lynch (GC), Yeo, Heeney, Taranto (Bowes, Eddy). Thoughts? Could also just skip black and Parsons and go Parfitt to one of Yeo/Heeney this week.

I am in a similar position. Can go Hampton to Hibberd and Eddy to Heeney.
I am just worried if they will be keepers???

Am I looking at them because of their low price first instead of their longevity and prospects of being top 6-8 in their positions?
It is a VERY tough week for decisions.

And apparently FWIW Eddy kicked 5 in the two's and Monfries was BOG.

Why are ppl thinking of trading Hampton. Breakeven 31 so should be still able to make more cash ??

Yeah it make no sense.
He still has the 100 in his average for this week, you also get to see another score and if he comes out with another big score he can be held for a few more weeks. If its 60ish he will be max value and ready to cull.

Problem is next week there is no downgrades really available, so you need to have an upgrade lined up for him.

Krakouer kicked 5 too. Maybe not relevant in itself but could be a problem for Eddy or even a Houston.

Doubt it suspect Paparone to be named this week. Can not see him replacing Berry either given Berry followed coachs instruction by running with Ebert and keeping him quiet.

I don't mind CC, especially with cola but think I'll be staying away from this one.
