Pickett -> Parsons
Parfitt -> Jacobs

Bont or Pendles for Beams, don't know.
Need to offload JOM or Swallow and can't decide, both are terrible!

JOM, can't see him scoring well at all, while Swallow is coming off a rest and has already shown he can ton up, I'd look to get rid of the other next week though.

Starting to consider a double downgrade now

Parfitt to Parsons locked but now wondering if I should grab EVW or Melican for Newman or Stewart because with both out and no foreseeable rookie downgrade options EVW and Melican now look somewhat valuable
EVW and Melican could just as easy get the flick next week as Newman and Stewart this week

Yep, and if Otten is given the axe, a lot of people will be copping a donut.

LOL!

Otten wont be given the axe.

He's been one of the Crows best players every week over the last few weeks.  ;D
LOL!

If you knew anything about team balance you'd realise it's a possibility with it raining in Hobart tomorrow.

He wouldn't be left out on a dry day so the word 'axe' is probably the wrong term, oh and saying he's been one our best every week is a bit of a stretch, good SC/DT doesn't mean he's one of our best every week, I doubt you even watch our games tbh.

Look mate I know you have something against Otten but I have watched some of the Crows games actually and Otten has done really well ever since Jenkins got injured playing up forward and as a relief ruck!

Doubt you would drop one of your most versatile players either despite a bit of rain.

If you cop an injury up back during the game to a key back who are you are going to play up there, Charlie Cameron?  ::)

Nah, I've got nothing against Otten so you're wrong there. Also I never said he wasn't playing well, just not one of our best players but if you didn't realise, Jenkins is back now and a couple bad games could put Otten under fire.

Sure, you say we wouldn't leave one of our most versatile players out due to the rain, but you waited until the teams were announced to make that call, you're the definition of captain hindsight.

You also don't pick your team on gameday with the thought you might have an injury during the game, we're already playing 3 key defenders so I think we'd be right if one went down.

Nah, I didn't wait till final teams, that's BS on your behalf mate.

I have been defending Otten every week, unlike you so was never worried that he was going to get dropped.  8)

Oh and what do you know? Otten ended up getting switched to go down back.  ;D

Like I said Crows would never drop one of their most versatile players despite a little bit of rain being forecast.

Hey JM and TK do not let this go any further please - You both have made your points and are starting to get close to personal attacks which can lead to bans.

You can say you didn't, but teams were announced before you posted, you wouldn't have if it happened.

That second statement makes no sense, so because you were defending him, you weren't worried about him being dropped? I also haven't said that he would be dropped since round 3.

Yeah he may have, and it obviously worked out so perfectly for Adelaide, didn't it? Definitely slowed down North Melbourne when they were running rings around us in their forward 50 and 4 key defenders was such a fantastic move! Just because it happened doesn't make it a good decision so get off your high horse, Pyke was clearly out-coached today.

The only reason I suggested he might be left out this week is because Mathew Clarke, one of our coaches, said on Friday that we may go in with a smaller line up due to the rain, Otten was the only tall not 100% locked into our side before this game (Hartigan is on thin ice with me atm). I was just speculating about what someone within the club said so they were obviously thinking about it, I never said it would definitely happen.

No worries.

Was just having some friendly banter with TomK mate, not intending it to go to personal attacks, etc.

All good with me and TomK.  8)

I admit I like to stir a little in my posting but just wanted a good healthy debate about Otten with TomK that's all.  ;)

Ended up trading in Duncan for Beams after looking into him. Everything is pointing to him averaging 105+ and with his Bye it looks a good option. Might struggle with 11 & 13 to get 18 on field unless i get a few extra prems in.

When you look at his DT i was highly postive that he would be 100+. But he just couldn't hit a target and was in a losing side. Thinking he might be a pretty good POD going forward as a M8/9
