The silver lining in this week of carnage is that there will be loads of premo mids well under the 600k mark. Has there ever been a worse week for supposed super premos?

Rocky - 53
Wines - 56
Fyfe - 62
Zorko - 68
Murphy - 88
JPK - 89

Add to that Martin & Pendles and there will be plenty on offer over the coming weeks. Some big decisions coming up.

Why do you like Rocky so much if you hate Treloar because he's a butcher? He still got 23 touches yesterday and only got to 53.

Wines scores well in the next two (West Coast and Gold Coast), then he has a bye. And goes into Round 10 with a low BE as that's when his 56 rolls out. Seems like a blessing that he's had the low score right now.

Hah!

You have to be on something if you think that Rocky butchers the ball every week like Treloar does mate.  ::)

Everyone is entitled to one bad game a year. Looks at Pendles last week.  :-[

I'd rather have Rocky any day of the week over Treloar.

Only reason I started Treloar was due to my bye structure.

Always planned to bring Rocky in after the byes.

shaker

Have Fyfe think I'll steer clear of the rest don't know if Fagan has a clue after yesterday and a home game , not going near Murphy or Wines so waiting to see what Pendles and Martin get up to today

The insult sounds nice, but if it's backed up by nothing then it really means nothing.

Rockliff hasn't averaged more SC than DT since 2013, Treloar did in 2015 and 2016 (and was within 1 point in 2016). Generally the SC/DT ratio is a way of seeing better users of the ball, that's why guys that use the ball well tend to be favoured by SC scoring. I wouldn't say that those numbers make my claim completely unreasonable and insult worthy. Infact it leans slightly to proving my point.

But the big one is this I guess, Treloar and Rockliff are both going at 66% DE this year. So yes, this year Rocky is butchering the ball as much as Treloar.

Unfortunately I can't find DE for previous seasons which is why I used DT/SC ratio instead.

Rocky and Treloar are both DT Pigs, that butcher it a lot, that's why their SC scores suffer. Come at me with numbers next time.

Not meant as an insult mate, just thought your comment was ludicrous that's all.

Rocky is way more suited to SC than Treloar is and that's a fact!

Rocky has the SC consistency and record to show it too.

I feel like Treloar has become more of a butcher of the ball this year compared to last year though.

Don't remember him ever butchering the ball so badly as what he has this year.

JM, just because "you feel it" doesn't mean your feelings can disprove statistics.  :P

Giganator has the DE stats below, and a fact is Rocky's DT average hasn't been below his SC since 2013, and that includes Tackles and Free Kicks that would usually top up his SC more than his DT. He has always been known as a DT pig, and a competitive SCer bar 2013 and the start of this season.

Your feelings towards Treloar are premeditated since he hadn't been scoring as well as you expected when you put him into your side. :-X

Ricochet

lol Rocky was always known as a butcher

Treloar's start to 2017 is a speed bump. He has too much class not to fix it up

I think we will have a better indicator of Treloar after today, but Rocky is certainly no Effective disposal Saint.

Bluesalltheway

Difference between Rocky and Treloar is Rocky makes up for his efficiency with tonnes of contested possessions and tackles. Can't really say the same with Treloar, so he has less room for error if he's not disposing well.
