Hey PB, in the interests of equity for the comp would it be worth counting the teams (that didn't lodge in round 1 and/or 2) actual scores as posted in their respective leagues.
As it seems unfair for those that didn't play those teams, to have others receive the massive % booster because of the token 500 points as opposed to the scores actually posted.
Regardless of the scores attained the forfeits should still stand though.

What exactly is being asked here?

Those teams that have come in will be coming from a % disadvantage and copping the 500 point scores, they shouldn't really be in the comp it's more because I didn't want 500 point scores every week (Essentially making there a 3 team group). I thought 500 was nice as the alternative is 0, no team was submitted remember!!

whats being asked is

to keep the comp competitive

teams coming in don't cop the previous teams punishments

and use the teams scores from teams posted in their leagues

you might say other leagues don't do this but other leagues don't completely replace teams and not as important as this league

i think it should be put to a vote if people don't agree then i will forget about it

just not fair for new coaches to receive the punishment

From what i understood Nostra was asking that the score of those teams posted in there respective leagues count instead of the 500 to not make the percentages so unfair, eg a team getting a massive percentage boost ect. Was not asking for those scores to be able to get a win though, the team that doesnt name the team loses regardless of their score? idk thats what i understood

I'll see where the %s sit (as I honestly haven't created the ladders yet), but if anything changes, it'll be the "against" column for the teams that were awarded the walkover win.

Other thought is to change 500 to a bigger number.

Got to remember that for Birmingham, Kathmandu and Turkey they were lucky to be replaced in to begin with. In the cases of Russia, Bangkok and now Rio, I'll see what things look like then take it from there.

Could someone involved with BXV give me the player by player scores for the teams involved there? Sorry if it takes up time, I have no access to BXV so can't do so myself.

Unfortunately it's a bit much with 32 teams to do everything in one sitting. Results will be up tomorrow. In the meantime, the ladders are up in the Group Stage 3 Thread so everyone could see where they were heading into this round :)
