Assuming loopholing is not possible, who would you drop into D6?

Gandalf123

Having this same issue - I'm leaning towards Newman.
But I have another solution for myself (or if you have Adams/Lloyd and DPP swing) swinging Lloyd to m8 via hibberd (benching SPP) which allows me to loophole newmans score with Stewart

Hampton won't kick 2 goals every week, I'd play Newman

RaisyDaisy

Newman vs Carlton out of those 2

I need to drop one of Otten, Marchbank, Hampton and Newman. Which one to bench? Near impossible, but thinking Hampton

Huttabito

Newman as has 3/3 games where you would be really happy with his score.

Hampton has 2/5.

I'm playing Newman and Marchbank over Hampton

We're all going to have this problem this week I think.
I've got Otten>Marchbank>McGrath>Newman>Hampton...probably put the last two on the pine...but stuffed if I know really...bound to get one or two wrong.

PICCOLLO

loopholes can be so handy.  Id go Newman in a pinch though.

Decisions Decisions

I need to choose 3 of Hampton, Otten, Newman, Williamson, Marchbank

Hampton - 1 good score, 1 solid score, 3 poor scores
Otten - 1 poor score, 4 good scores (Possible Jenkins is back this week)
Newman - 3 Solid scores
Williamson - 2 solid scores, 1 poor score
Marchbank - 1 Good score, 3 solid scores, 1 poor score

Currently i am leaning towards Marchbank, Newman
Then either Otten or Williamson, really concerned how Jenkins will impact Otten, but likely go with him as 90% will have him on field

I have a similar problem, I have 3 positions to be filled by Hampton, Otten, Marchbank, Newman and Stewart.

I am going Marchbank, Newman, Otten.

Contemplated Hampton for Otten given Jenkins is back but playing the percentages, Otten has a better scoring history than Hampton.

Why not both?

I might move Adams to M8 via Hibberd, Steele from M8 to F5 via Parfitt and Butler to the bench.

Mongoose528

Bench one out of Hampton v Marchbank v Otten v Newman v Williamson

It seems the consensus is Hampton, right?

Mat0369

I think I'd start Marchbank, Hampton and Newman. Hampton probably scores a 60 this week, Otten will probably have to play lock down defense and his one score at that end of the field was terrible, Willow is probably going to be a flip of the coin and Newman looks to have the highest floor.

I'm benching Butler against the Crows (Steele goes from M8 to F5 via Parfitt), Adams to M8 via Hibberd and Houston at F6.

Would rather play one of Hampton, Otten, Newman over Butler this week so going with this backline -

* NB - Mids are at full premo this week with Adams there.  ;)

B - Shaw, Laird, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton, Newman (Stewart, Hibberd)
C - Danger, Pendles, Fyfe, Bont, Treloar, Mitchell, Beams, Adams (Fisher, Parfitt, Barrett)
R - Sandi, Witts (Spud Freo ruck rookie)
F - Dahl, Nank, Macrae, Yeo, Steele, Houston (Butler, Hannan)
