After sleeping on it decided to bench Swallow as he will not lose any more cash:

Pickett to Balic (realise Pickett has not made much cash but starting to get too many non starters on bench)
Roughy to Macrae

I'm actually keeping SPP, he has 4/5 scores above his BE and 1/5 equal to his BE.

I'm trading SPS this week, he has only 1/5 scores above his BE and 4/5 we'll below.

So SPS > Balic.
this and Picket to Macrae or Simpson.   Probably Macrae

SPS to Balic
Butler to Buddy
Butler looks great and should keep making good coin for a few more weeks...+40k
WHE on the other hand looks the one to go.

Parfitt to Balic
Taranto to Hanners

Hanners should go back to one 120 after a few easy wins ;)
Good trades mate. I brought in Hanners last week, Balic this week , Taranto went weeks back and Parfitt has one more week.

Three options I'm stuck between:

1. Roughead and Swallow out, Fisher and Balic in. Heaps of cash but don't get the points I want asap.

2. Roughead and Swallow out, Balic and $608k mid in (Wines, Dusty, Zorko, Oliver, Neale)... could also be a forward.

3. Roughead and Swallow out, Fisher and $615k forward in (Lynch, Tex, Riewoldt, Macrae, Kennedy, Greene).

What are your priorities.
Which line needs finishing first fwds or mids.      Or is cash gen more important.   If so double down otherwise Macrae/NROO or Wines/Neale

Not fussed which line I finish first but priority is finishing as high overall as possible so I think I need points. But will the cash generation allow me to finish my team earlier and make up those points?

Trade Hoskin Elliott for either Riewoldt or JPK/Martin

Current Mids: Rocky, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Penldebury, Treloar, Beams, SPP, Balic

Current Forwards: Dahl, Nank, Macrae, Franklin, Hoskin-Elliott, Butler

Should also add I have used 24 trades so far and $260k in the kitty

Thoughts?

Ringo

I would trade WHE to the best mid you can afford. Will mean you will be only carrying one rookie in mids,

I think JPK is about to get going, along with a few other Sydney mids.

Dusty will be a lot cheaper in about 2 weeks I think so would prefer to wait at least a week on him.

Wines with the bye coming up isn't as appealing.

Not sure which way to go:

1. Roughy and Swallow > Balic and Fisher & $533k in bank, then next week upgrade SPP to Pendles and Pickett to Black, but will play 2 of Butler/Parfitt/Balic on field. Might still have about $350k (depending on what Pendles gets this week) for week after upgrade to do Marchbank to Docherty.
2. Swallow and Pickett > Balic and Fisher & $311k in bank, then next week JOM and SPP to Pendles and Black
3. Swallow and Roughy > Fisher/Balic (miss out on one of them) and Buddy (could go huge n the next 2-3 games) & $186k-$190k depending on whether I get Balic/Fisher. Then I could either do double downgrade next week and get Melican/McNeice/EVW and Black.
Have 6 premo mids, with JOM and Swallow in M7 & M8 respectively. Roughy is F5 and playing Butler at F6.

The answer will be determined by whether points this week matter a lot

I usually prefer to grab one premium at times like this as long astray are cheapish like say Rocky or Selwood this week

Roughy has to go this week and Swallow has not been a winner
