Yeah me too, I'm absolutely stoked I jumped on him considering most were either holding or even going for Fisher. I really liked his game and being in the Carlton team the ball will be down in the back half a lot which means plenty of opportunity to score points.

Not really surprising he is actually listed as a mid in his write ups for the draft so to me it was surprising he is listed as a defender only
I picked him up in BXV thinking he would be a mid

Really be surprised if he hasnt locked a spot down now. He was one of a few who kept pushing even when they were struggling, many others just gave up.

Yep showed plenty of second efforts.

Funniest thing I saw last night was two of his rebounding kicks from the defensive 50 going to Port players, ball was booted back in and both times he took contested marks! Good sign to see after an ineffective kick to keep attacking the ball.

I grabbed him for Macreadie. Macreadie will take the occasional intercept mark but doesn't look to win the ball so he is probably not far off his maxed out price. At 117k Williamson was worth it. The GC game everyone was sluggish from the wet track the week before from both teams. He looks really good so it was worth it.

Hopefully Newman comes back and I can look to upgrade Hampton in the next fortnight.

Glad I brought him in before the game. Very athletic and has a great shoe on him. Think he will be sticking around for a bit after last nights effort. Tested very well at the draft combine. Agility test 1st, 3km time trial 2nd and 3rd in the sprint test. Good chance I bring in Fisher next week too. Another rookie I like the look of. Now, just need Newman to get back on the park! ::)

Fisher looks like he will be a good option as well. I'm thinking of SPS to Fisher and SPP to Dusty if I have the coin next week.
