Heart or Head?

My last real conundrum before lockout...

My head says= Daniel Cross

My heart says=Liam Anthony

- I currently have had Cross as my third mid for a while now but am SERIOUSLY considering Liam Anthony. Yes, he's super pricey for a 2nd year players but C'mon, the footy follows him around like a bad smell and his pre season indicates further improvement (btw his 50 & 60 something scores were on track for 100's but he was subbed off in each during the 2nd/3rd quarters).
- Also his status as a premium unique/smokey is so attractive. Cross, well what can you say, the guy is super safe and basically never gets average scores.
- I still think taggers will be focusing on the likes of Wells and/or Swallow before Liam but there is that question mark on wether he can handle extra attention this year.

-Love a few opinions on this one, gang ?? (you've all been great so far) cheers

I agree Liam is super pricey for a 2nd year.
Also agree Cross is a sure thing.
Liam is very tempting isn't he. But I would tend to stay away from him at this point because I need to see more of him over the year to see if he remains consistent.
Having said that, DT is about taking some risks to get the edge over your competitors lol.
I probably haven't made your choice any easier though lol.

I have heard that Anthony has had a decent pre-season and will be stronger than last year...whether he cops tags is a different story

Furthermore, Ziebell has had an even better pre-season as is a must

Ziebell has had an average pre season, honestly Hall has scored heaps better and provides more bang for your buck.

On the ziebell front- I agree with plastic boy.  Opting for Hall as he WILL improve on price and is a genuine bargain. Ziebell will be a gun at some stage but there is no evidence to suggest that this year will be huge for him. One to look out for tho...

-Anyway, can somebody give me their opinion on my Cross v Anthony saga??,
