Treloar and Mitchell > Rocky and Murphy.

Seeya later clanger kings!
you just love to trade Juddy.    2 sideways and no other mid price problems? ???

LOL!

Yeah as the Doc said I was fueled with alcohol (red wine) while rambling on and trading out Treloar and Mitchell 20 times.

I love the reverse trade button. I give it a good workout every week as soon as lockout opens.  ;D
I was so depressed,  no forum, no SC team for minimum 24 hours.  Was only tonight that I got back online.    This has been my worst start to a season ever.          Done quite a few reverses tonight though.    :D

My teams doing all right mate (3,335 overall) but has been frustrating too.

Shaw, Treloar and Higgins letting me down the last couple of weeks has cost me 2 weeks in a row in my cash league.

Am now 0-2 despite having a pretty decent side.

I 've noticed that nearly all the teams in my cash league are pretty much the same barr 5 players or so.

Last week I played a guy where I only had 5 POD's compared to his team and Shaw, Pendles and Higgins were 3 of those POD's.

I go on to lose the game by 15 points.  ::)

Was so flowering powered off!  >:(

Ha! Always the way mate. I remember not even being in the top four of my cash league a few years ago, yet  I was ranked about 300 at the time. Just that everyone I played seemed to have their best week of the season.

Too true mate and its super frustrating aswell.

I'm hoping its not too late for me to make the 8 in my cash league as I have never been in this position before.

Having said that I am only a game out of the 8 atm so not all doom and gloom yet.

Yeh,  hope Missy finds his knickers this week.    Steele to have some "Steel".   Rucks are killing me.   Roughy to Stef is super tempting.

Roughy to Steph looks like a super trade.

I'd be locking that one in a heartbeat if I were you. :)

I have previously said no trades this week and after I have read other posters thoughts in this thread I still will hold.

Balic is a pass at this stage.

I will wait and grab Zac Fisher next week and grab Parsons when he plays next

RaisyDaisy

Figured out my trades

Rough to Balic and Marchbank to Adams

Allows me to move Steele back to the fwd, meaning WHE is the only rookie at F6. Otten and Newman on field with Hampton/Stewart on bench, and fielding 2 mid rookies between SPP, Parfitt, Balic, Barrett and with Hibberd at M11 I can now swing Adams into the mids and loop Hampton if need be, or use Hibberd to loop 2 of the 4 mid rookies

Loopholes and DPP everywhere which should be advantageous

I'm finishing my mids off next week by trading WHE > Rockliff via Steele.

Danger, Pendles, Bont, Rocky, Fyfe, Beams, Treloar, Mitchell

Will still have Butler and Houston at F5 and F6 but plan to downgrade one of them to Parsons when he comes back and upgrade the other to Macrae.  8)

Forwards will then be -

Dahlhaus, Nankervis, Macrae, Higgins, Steele, rookie

Chonks

Roughead & Eddy/Barrett (if they're still not named)
to
Balic & Martin via Nankervis

Just went through my trades for a while and I always seemed to have cash in the bank stemming from not using cash in an upgrade for this week so I have $240k sitting there that's unlikely to be used for awhile so I figure I may as well use it.

I'm always one for cashing rookies early to prem up quick.

So have gone Marchbank > Montagna as a POD. Heater would be nice but can't have all 4 defender premos missing Rd 13.

Adams, Laird, Howe, Montagna, Otten, Newman (Hampton, Williamson)
Danger Rocky Fyfe Beams Treloar Murphy Steele SPP (SPS, Barrett, Parfitt)
Witts, Sandi (Strnadica)
Dahl, Macrae, Nank, Higgins, Roughy, Butler (Parfitt, Eddy)

Or should I use the money elsewhere?

One correctional this week.   Caddy  turns in to  Macrae.

Hawka

I already only have 24 trades, so none for me this week, might bring in fisher for spp next week

I was contemplating the same trades, but I think I'll wait a week and hope Roughy and Marchbank make a few extra grand.

This week SPP to Balic, next week Roughy to Fisher via Balic, and Marchbank to Adams. Week after grab Parsons.

I would hold Marchbank (has an achievable B/E so a little more cash) for another week and your decision.
You have Parfitt twice.
I would do a Rookie down to Baliic then Roughy to a mid of your choice you can afford via Steele. Should be able to get anmy mid including Pendles, JPK, Sloane - Alternatively could just do Roughie to who you can afford but may cut down a few options.

shaker

Someone to Balic pending on what happens when teams come out still 28 trades left will let the rookies plump up a bit more and start upgrading next week

Second Parfitt is Pickett hahaha
Reason why I'm cutting him loose early is the fact they play Port and then Sydney, I'm not sure how well he will score in the next few weeks. Might only have $30-50k left in him but stretched over 3 weeks. Roughy plays Weagles whom he has a career avg of 105 against and then Saints (103 avg) and I expect the Hawks to lift and rough to lift also. If he doesn't he becomes Pendles next week anyway so I'm holding off the inevitable trade if he scores badly. Jones is not a keeper and he plays Giants this week so a 60 could be on the cards hence why Roughy stays for now. Joey is a massive pod and a good pod too, don't see him missing games and see him scoring around 100. Is it really that bad of a trade?

I also don't rate Balic as highly as some, would rather a def rookie in Williamson especially with Fisher Parsons and Myers coming in over the next few weeeks.

Mongoose528

Am I better off trading Roughead or Florent to Balic this week?

Trading Roughead means I play Balic

Trading Florent means I play Roughead
