Round 5 Trades

Ok after trading Mitchell and Treloar to Murphy and Rocky and hitting the reverse trade button 20 times last night I have settled on -

Powell-Pepper > Balic (Kitty to $226,700)

Week after Hampton > Fisher via Hibberd and Hannan > Macrae.

Thoughts?  ???

O'Meara --> JJK

Good trades I reckon.

I don't like KPF's in SC though and tend to go for mid/forwards instead.

JJK still a solid choice though. :)

SC Gold Projections for him are ridiculous - projecting 95, 99 and 113 over the next 3 weeks which would see him go up another 90k

I think he will score 70-80 over the next 3 weeks, and only go up another 30-40k

Rough + WHE for Balic + one of JPK/Zorko/Zerrett/Dusty is super tempting

He's the least of my worries atm (Looking at you Treloar)

And he would have scored 80 + hadn't he gone off with sore wrist for a while early on in the game.

I reckon WHE will max out around 370-390k...with that 120 he scored in R2 to be a flash in the pan... 70s-90s and he won't earn that much more than he is now....so if you can get him off the ground now for one of JPK/Zorko/Zerrett/Dusty that's a big tick for mine. I'd do it if I could.

I want to bring in Balic , but can't decide who to trade out?

One of SPP, Barrett, Hibberd, Stewart, or Eddie. Do I unload a non playing rook, with low BE or one of the others that are still earning coin (although not much).

Don't think I can keep three non players for much longer, but it hurts wasting trades for no cash gain as well.

I'll be firmly putting the trigger finger away for a few more weeks yet. I was lucky and seemed to pick all the relevant rookies up in my starting team and I don't see anyone new crying out to be picked. Already used a couple of trades too after having traded Goldy out to Gawn when he missed a week to win cash league and then having to trade Gawn and also doing a corrective trade to bring in WHE.

Hoping in this time Taranto can smash out at least one score >85 to spike his price.

Wingard to Dylan Clarke (Dons have lots of late games coming up so can loop him in easily, and every other player in my squad plays, plus he's a chance at a debut later on)
Swallow to Rockliff

Leaving my midfield Murphy, Rocky, Dusty, Wines, Oliver, Kelly, Heppell, Beams (SPP, Fisher, Clarke)
and my forwards Yeo, Miller, Higgins, Steele, Hosk, Butler (Hayward, Balic)

I'm happy to give Lloyd another week. If Heeney/Rohan/McVeigh all come back this week, it'll give us a good look at their structure and his role with a near full 22. He's nice to have but won't hurt for another week with a BE of 90.

I've only got two spots left (Adams, Docherty, Laird and Howe) and I need to make sure that I don't want the cheaper options of Shaw/Simpson in 2 weeks time.

If Lloyd drops a little off the 100 average, i'll probably skip him but definitely one I'm weighing up on hence my wait and see, especially like you said, if it helps him.
