I only see Tucker and Sutcliffe pushing their cases in the WAFL. Tabs also but can't see him coming in

Of those that played on the weekend Grey is probably the only one I would consider dropping, but Ross will most likely keep backing this group in.

Especially when Grey was so good the week before!

I have a fair bit of cash in the bank but if Eddy doesn't get up this week I am going to have to trade him or Preuss as Strnadica is my F8 and I have no cover.


I was thinking Preuss/Eddy to Balic and then SPP to a premo midfielder or maybe cut my losses on Roughy.

He is averaging 77 which is fantastic for a rookie, surely you have lower scoring rookies on your field. I have SPP, Houston, Taranto who he is beating.

If he keeps up his current average he will make another 60k before his bye.

would only do it if there was a must have premo and he was the only way to afford it.

I see the trade as a longer term value gain than short term bleed every dollar out of him. I also have 29 trades left so in a good spot.

I have Otten & Newman ahead of him locked onto my field. So Marchbank is my 6th defender with Hampton at D7. The trade will allow me to loophole Hampton & Williamson into D6 so likelihood is I won't lose many points.

As for Cash Generation
If Marchbank hits 75 this week he will rise $13k. He is a slow burn.

If Hampton hits 55 this week he rises $22k, he pulls out a 70 he turns into a player I can keep for a few more weeks and make more cash than Marchbank can. If not I then have the Warchest available to upgrade Hampton to a D4.

Def rookies look very light on going forward to me, so I feel that Williamson is one of the better options to pick up now and I see Marchbank as the best option for my team.

That's because Hampton has an 84 in his rolling average, compared to the 56 that Marchbank has due to the game in the wet the other week. Hampton will make more cash this week, but after that I'd expect Marchbank to catch up again the following week and will score more as well going off of their seasons so far.

Correct and that is why holding Hampton for 1 week is better than holding Marchbank for 1 week.
It would be a different story if I was planning on holding for several weeks, but it doesn't suit my upgrade plan. Only way that changes is if whoever I keep pulls out a big score.

Newman & Otten have 3 weeks + left. The warchest from this and Balic will allow for an upgrade to anyone I want.
