I want to dump Roughy, but I only have 20k in the bank. I'd be happy to grab Balic, but the rookies I have atm are still mooing and the ones that aren't making much (Pickett & Eddy) I'm not sure if it's worth using a valuable trade on getting rid of them just for Balic

Thinking JOM and Roughy to Bont and Balic. I think Roughy might struggle with the WCE talls. JOM may also be right to go so will decide on Friday, but with Bont in mids looks good with Swallow left to upgrade.

Score wise round 1 I was pretty unimpressed. I'm still pretty hesitant because Freo kicked more goals in 1 quarter on the weekene then what it felt like they did in most games last year. I probably wouldn't sideways a Pickett or an Eddy to him but I'd look at someone like Taranto. I'd also want to be starting guys ahead of him.

Jones -> Williamson

Team will then look like

Adams, Laird, Howe, Marchbank, Otten, Newman (Hampton, Williamson)
Dangerfield, Rockliff, Bontempelli, Fyfe, Treloar, Murphy, Beams, SPS (SPP, Pickett, Barrett)

Dunno how I feel about getting a bloke with a huge ceiling, low floor and massive standard deviation when I already have blokes like Rocky Danger Murphy Fyfe giving me the huge ceiling but with the high floor and low SD. If anything, I want a 115 a game type player which Bont is. Can't help but think though that JPK at $583k is a great get and even Parker/Hanners at $540k are HUGE value though. They'll turn it around soon, both are very good players. Just about jumping on when they do. After this week their draw opens up and I feel Parker will be the type of guy to flourish against the weaker teams.. Carlton, Brisbane, North, Hawks, Saints, Tigers, Essendon, Melbourne, GC in their next 9 weeks after GWS. When he gets on a roll he gets on a roll..

Just wondering to whether to do another correctional trade Roughy to Matera

Roughy has a B/e of 76 which he may not achieve. Matera is $7k chaeper with a B/e of -63 and with a score of 81 is predicted to rise $65k. Could turn out to be a handy F6/7 as well. Suns look to be on the rise so may continue with form shown so far, (98 and 157).

Will wait on teams to see whether to bring in Balic as rookies still mooing although slowly.
