Is he legit? Yet to go below 100 and is averaging 115 odd after today. Must be considered

RaisyDaisy

Will be about 485k after this round, so still cheap

I haven't watched enough to know, but I wouldn't have thought he would maintain this all year but I could be wrong

Locinator

Thats my thought, second year player so must fall off towards the end.

He has completely shocked me though, i dont think anyone could have predicted it

Bones Bombers

I brought him in for JOM rd3 before price changes even though everyone said it was a wasted trade. Still need time to prove it wasn't but happy so far.
I think his TOG is still pretty low too. He seems to disappear every so often but when he's on the ground he's on the ball.
Lots of contested possessions.
He is a good tackler. Has 7,9,8,8 for the 4 games.
Would love to see him kick a goal or two a game too.

sammy123

i feel people shoulda started with him. as he is a good stepping stone. not sure if he can maintain the scores you want. could be good bench cover at season end

ronl

Pretty sure that I'll bring him in this week to finally plug the O'Meara hole.  Liked what I saw yesterday.

batt

I've followed him closely and almost brought him in 2 rounds ago.

TOG is the biggest worry.  I figured he'd approach 80+% but it looks like he's still going to hover around 75%.  That's not going to cut it as a top 10 mid IMO.

agreed. great bench cover

Money Shot

Is he the real deal?

He's averaging 115 and watching the game on the weekend he was Melbournes best player by far.

Is he too much of a risk when guys like Hanners are only 50k more?

Thanks guys :)

Holz

ok yes he is on fire and perhaps he can keep up 110+

but im not going to pay 480k for him when there is guys like JPK, Fyfe, Treloar, Hanners etc all within 100k.

I learnt my mistake on picking up Touk and not waiting for the cash for Macrae etc...

Mongoose528

I seriously think he is the real deal.

Not the real deal but a great money spinner for those who grabbed him on the  cheap. Dees are now without a genuine ruckman so expect Oliver's scores to take a tumble.

Not necessarily always the case Bully. They'll just structure up more defensively at stoppages so we should see a lot more sharked hitouts and tackles. Bulldogs have done it very well for a few years now

Although being a young body he should drop off/cop a niggling injury so I'm staying away

Who comes in though? At least the Doggies had Campbell, Boyd, Minson & Roughead. Dees have nothing in the cupboard, not even a best 22 player who can pinch hit like Jackson Trengove.

Not sure tbh mate. It's not ideal and they'll lose more clearances than they win but if they go in expecting to lose hitouts and structure up defensively they can still be effective at times or negate how effective the oppo is
