Still firmly believe that teams down the ladder do not get the rub of the green from the umpires. 2 decisions stand out for me tonight as attrocious
1) How can a free kick for over the shoulder be paid for a player in front marking the ball.
2) Richmond player was tackled swung 360 degrees dropped the ball picked it up and was called play on.

3rd one not as wrong but Stef Martin was played a free kick in the forward 50 and insted of giving 30 seconds to kick for goal was called play on. Umpires seem to have a penchant to call play on even when a player just steps slightly sideways.

Know I have a rant about umpires but want to see some consistency and do not see it against the lesser teams. carlton are often dudded as well.

Would not have made any difference to score though as we played our worst game of the season and went back to old ways of short kicking and handballing in dangerous situations. We showed no real intensity either.

Robbo though did an excellent job of keeping Dusty quiet. although if a couple of his behinds were goals may have been different.

Would have been a real blow out if Tigers kicked straight.

Hopefully after Berry and Cox didn't do much and cutler is injured Barrett might get a look in, he was one of Brisbanes best in the NEAFL yesterday as well :)

Cox looked good from my perspective - Berry not so much. - Cox was easily out maneuvered on a couple of occasions. Played mostly on Half Forward. Remains to be seen who we bring in for Cutler. Basti was also one of best in NEAFL.

I actually though Cox was reasonable, was surprised when I saw his score and it was so low.. Reckon he should be given another chance next week at least.

Thanks Toga - For a while was thinking I was the only one who saw something in him. Will be interesting though whether we continue to play him at HF with Cutlers injury.
I actually prefer Cox over Berry from observations.
