The lid is off at Punt Road, with the 3-0 Tigers already planning ahead to the last weekend in September. Brisbane meanwhile have been impressive, considering nothing was expected of them. It'll be a good test for both sides, certainly a winnable game for both, but if Richmond are wanting to be the real deal they'll be winning this game and not letting Brisbane back in it like Essendon and St. Kilda did.

Our best has been borderline top 8 material so far this year. Unfortunately, our worst has been that of a bottom 2 side (like the Hawks amiright). I'd love to think that we can play somewhat near our best for 3 quarters at least, and not play at our worst for half the damn game. If we can do that, we're a real shot. But with such a young team, it's probably gonna happen. Pretty sure the Tigs have had the wood on us for quite a while now as well?

My data goes back to 2010, and the Tigers have won 9 in a row against Brisbane since then, 5 of them at the Gabba.

Yeah, sounds about right :-X

Need to be on song from the start. Do not want to be chasing scores as we were against Saints and Bombers. Do not think the Tigers will let us back in from a 6 goal lead.
However if we get out of the blocks quickly as we did against Suns we may be able to heap pressure on the Tigers. Would love us to play 4 quarters out fully as a slack quarters cot us.
We looked a lot better against Saints when McStay went back after Gardiners injury so he may retain that position.

Yeah Richmond has only lost like one game to Brisbane since 2005. Have had the wood over the Lions for a while so gotta back them in judging by the first few games of the season.
