I actually think he's on the downward slide i'm sad to say - looked like he wouldn't be able to play out a whole game in the middle and the skills and speed have dropped away, game is passing him by a bit ... :(

saw the difference between a top 8 side and one that will not make finals this year i'm sad to say ... Swans too young and inexperienced and the structures just did not look right.

the 'big 3' aren't functioning well together and whilst he wasn't integral, the loss of Tom Mitchell seems to have affected the structure of the midfield group imo ...

Tippett (to my great surprise) and particularly the loss of Rampe's run off half-back is a massive loss and deficiency. Tippett & Reid up front allows Buddy to roam up the ground into the midfield and take makes from half-back a bit better. as some noted, Mills is not yet ready to assume the run off half-back that Rampe was/would normally provide ... :(

i'm actually advocating for Longmire continuing to 'play the kids' for the rest of the season ... Hayward, Florent, Newman, Fox and Foote were impressive down to decent ... ;)
