Bringing him in for Hibberd. Burning a trade on rookies is worth it if they make enough cash to warrant it. Which Newman will.

Benny Long should be getting games soon too and will be a good downgrade option in the next month or so.

Definite pickup.
The 100+ in the second game means that he will have that in the rolling average for 2 weeks, even with a poor match this week he will rise massively over the next 2 weeks (Assuming he plays).

He should have enough JS for the short to mid term to make this worth it. The only question for me is who do I drop for him. Can be any player on any line.

Given the plethora of decent scoring defenders, I dont think its completely crazy to downgrade Marchbank to him and pocket the profit for an early upgrade. Not ideal but might be better than cashing out another rookie too early.

Right now we have Otten, Hampton, Newman, Marchbank that are vying for 3 spots in most teams

Stewart at an average of 50 will make 80k more, but a weak bench option
Hibberd can loophole the 4th of those players each week, plus has the DPP if you need to move him to mids to bring in Williamson next week. Also if he comes back in at any stage you have the possibility that he will get a few games in a row and make 80k anyway
Newman with a score of 80 this week will make 80k this week alone
Marchbank still has 80k to make and is a solid on field option
Otten still has 150-200k
Hampton still has 100-150k

My options are Hibberd, Stewart or Florent.

I wouldn't mind unloading Florent, as my kitty is empty. It means that Hibberd would be stuck on my mid bench though, taking away loophole options in defense. Currently playing SPP at M8, so not really any options to loophole in mids. Not sure which way to go?

I would do Stewart to Newman.
Hibberd gives the loophole this week and next week you can go Florent/Hibberd to Berry or Williamson on the bubble
