I haven't used any trades yet this year and overall I am pretty happy with my team (scoring 2433 last week).

I have 63,000 in the bank but it's not quite enough to trade up either of Parfitt or Pickett to Will Hoskin-Elliiot.

I'm torn between two trading options:

Option 1: Sandilands > Witts, Parfitt/Pickett > WHE

On JLT and early season form, WHE's job security and earning potential looks ripe, but this involves burning two trades with none of the players involved seen as keepers. so i'm hesitant to burn two trades early days when i know i'm going to have to re-trade those players being brought in.

I also fear that when D Currie and T Nicholls are back fit and firing, Witts' job security and scoring potential might suffer.

Option 2: Parfitt/Pickett > D. Butler

My second option is to forget about WHE all together and just trade either one of Pickett/Parfitt to Butler, using only one trade and holding onto Sandilands (until I eventually upgrade him at a later stage).

This is the more risk free approach, which focuses purely on making some quick easy cash, as Butler's job security and early form looks like an easy grab for cash.

I already have some plump cash cows on the bench in Preuss, Powell-Pepper, Houston and T. Stewart so I feel that butler will compliment them well.

Any advice is HUGELY appreciated :)

Option 2, and it's not even close :)

Hey Mitch,

How about Taranto to WHE?

Get that ranking up, score more points in the short term (in theory), make more money and only one trade.

Yeah I agree with the rest of the lads - don't go trading Sandi out the week he plays the Dogs.. Craziness
Just because Witts outscored him in one game doesn't mean it'll happen consistently. You're literally burning two trades to get in a ruck who will average less than Sandi and WHE over Parfitt/Pickett etc on field. You're maybe gaining 10-20 points on field a week for two trades? Naaah

Thanks for the feedback fellas.. I agree with your sentiments, much appreciated!

In my opinion, a pretty solid trade. A lot of pressure on Taranto's spot, especially with the wealth of talent sitting under him and with Coniglio and Deledio still to come back in to the side. I guess it depends on how confident you are with the rest of your team (if there isn't any glaring holes in it that you need to attend to first), i'd say it's a good trade. WHE has better scoring potential and job security
