Tom J Lynch is the 8th ranked fwd after Round 4 :)

Betts and Hawkins are two of the guys ranked higher who are in less teams than TJ combined (And TJ doesn't have many owners!). Another one is Nank who many have in the rucks and I don't think expect to be a top 10 fwd. So Yeo, JJK, Dahl and Macrae then TJ.

Pretty happy with that start from him!!

i think nank can b top 10. still scored 91 against stef martin who is the best ruck in comp. just my opinion
If you say so :P

with gawn out he is now. maybe grundy his only competition
Jacobs, Goldy, Sandi, Mumford all better rucks than Stef imo. His work around the ground is obviously a whole lot better though.

batt

I picked him because I rate the Suns as a finals contender and he's plenty talented enough to take advantage of the increased forward supply.

Stef martin might be top SC ruck but he is a below average AFL ruck so its easy to score on him

Below average?  :o he had a down year last year mostly from injury but he has been elite in recent years including this year. Doesn't win the monster hitout numbers that a Sandi or Gawn do but he is second to none around the ground.

For the record yes I do think Nank is a keeper and top 10 forward. surely everyone does by now?

Difference between elite ruck and elite player who plays ruck. What im saying is playing against him you can win the tap out but he will kill you around the ground.

Sandi mummy are more worried about killing my ruckmans scores.

This is the 3rd time he's gone below 50 this year, tonight though and the game agsinst Port Adelaide he was completely given a bath by both Tom Jonas and Liam Jones!

Will drop to 415k and for those who started with him which includes myself, I am filthy!

Does he have to go? I don't have Macrae and he is the one in looking at to trading him out.

AgentSteele

Hold. Won't drop to 415k probably something like 425-430k. He is a legitimate gun and all of Gold Coast didn't have their way. Carlton have a history of having low scoring games so forwards won't benefit too much from that. People are going to want to bring Tom Lynch in. But if your entire team is finished and you do not have any other glaring issues then do it. Keep in mind his next few games are fairly winnable.

HoleMeal

I must apologise and own up.
It was me who brought him in yesterday and subsequently cursed him with my pick.
It was him or Heeney and of course I went the KPP at the cheaper price.

Should have followed my Dads advice- Pay cheap, Pay twice.

Blues Blues Blues

He won't play on Liam Jones every week

Pretty amazing career turnaround and I have to say he looks a natural. Seems like there was a footballer lurking under the skin all these frustrating years.

SilverLion

Would you also be considering trading Franklin if you had him?

Key forwards do this from time to time, even the best of them (e.g. JJK)

IMO hold, good enough for F5/6, only looks to be 4 forwards that will average 100+ this year: Yeo, Macrae, Dahlhaus and Heeney. Any of about 15 players could make up F5/6, of which he is one.

GCSkiwi

I have him and I'm going to hold, he was always going to throw in a few stinkers like this. With that said, I only brought him in a couple of weeks ago, and I have Macrae. I think Macrae is a must have forward, but if you're going to trade Lynch to him I have to assume you've got no rooks sitting there.

quinny88

These are worse than just stinkers. I can cop 50s from a premo but 20s and 30s? Gee whiz.
I won't be trading him, I only got him in last week but I've come to realise that he can't be trusted with a permanent spot on the field. Will have to bring another forward premo in and loophole lynch
