Someone in one of my leagues had Martin as captain last week, and this week, he had Yeo.  ;D

Have no clue why he put the C on Yeo

I'm really regretting trading in Yeo now.

Just totally forgot about him being used as a spare parts man by Simpson when the Eagles are getting flogged.  :'(

Same  :'(

We just need to hope Eagles don't get flogged much this year then! Or that Simpson keeps playing Yeo off half-back

I don't understand the fascination of Simpson moving Yeo around when things go wrong for the Eagles to be honest.

He was on 30 SC in the first quarter, then gets moved forward and does flower all the rest of the game.  ::)

Just play Yeo where he plays best instead of ruining his development and confidence in the process by unsettling him position wise whenever the Eagles are getting flogged!  >:(
hahahaha yeh flower trying to win the game or anything ::)

They had to try something, they were getting destroyed. And he wasn't the only one that was thrown around

HeeHee.  ;D

Yeah but one player isn't going to make much of a flowering difference mate.

Yeo plays his best at half back, not up forward.

West Coast should pick better forwards if all they are going to do is throw Yeo up there whenever they are getting flogged!!
Did you watch the game though JM? Yeo was in a mid/fwd rotation.
Quite a few times he was near the ball but just couldn't get it, or got tackled as he got it.

He wasn't the only one thrown around, McGovern was thrown back for a bit. Darling had to go into the ruck as well, which meant they lost him out of the fwd line at times.

It happens.

Didn't watch it mate, just followed it on Fanfooty and was going by what everyone else was saying on there about the game and Yeo.  ;)

Fair enough with McGovern, I consider him a bit of a swingman anyways and your rucks are decimated atm so can understand someone like Darling having to chop out in the ruck.

Just don't understand why you'd move a player that has been dominating in his position though every week. You are robbing Peter to play Paul.  :-X

Must have been drunk!  :P

Ringo

Agree with Rico here. He did do m/f rotation and started in the middle quite e few times but the ball seemed to go the other way most times or he was tackled immediately.

My point though is that he shouldn't have been playing mid/forward.

West Coast have enough mids and forwards on their list.

Should have just been kept at half back where he excels at.

Its quite clear that's where he plays his best footy.

If you had watched the game JM you would have clearly seen that it had to be done

I can understand moves needing to be made mate for the Eagles to get back into the game.

Just seemed a bit unnecessary to move Yeo who excels at half back and looks lost everywhere else he plays.

Surely Simpson has learnt this by now?  ???

You've already said you didn't watch the game, so how do you know he looked lost?

Just based on past games when he isn't playing half back mate.

Plus listening to what people were saying about him on Fanfooty live when he wasn't playing half back.

elephants

This was no his fault, our midfield was getting mutilated and something had to change.

Given that was our last game at the MCG, and we have another 9 games in WA this season, I am very happy with him in my forward line 8)

Jukes

Started with him 8) the 139, 102, 83, 141 start definitely makes up for the 59...just as long as he goes back to 100+ again (or close to it) this week

Just cut your losses and trade him to Higgins. Too much uncertainty around Yeo's role for mine.

Mat0369

Much better this week. He will probably finish with a score over 150.

fanTCfool

Plays well in the easy wins/at home, that's Yeo for you, so an easy win at home is what it is.
