I don't understand the want for murphy - is it simply his price. he wont score enough to be a top 10 mid imo and loves an injury too. its likely this steven to murphy will end up costing people another trade down the line

Being price at an 80 average and starting the year with 132 average over two weeks is pretty nice.

Steven has to go regardless, that cash could be used elsewhere, and it's likely only one trade from Murphy to a top 10 (if he doesn't get there himself) as opposed to the downgrade/upgrade needed for most other cash generators

All indications are that it's going to be harder to generate cash this season. As LaHug said, Steven had to go this week, so why not use the chance to make some money at the same time with a player who is going to make money and may be a chance of becoming a Top10 mid. Murphy also has the same bye as Steven which helps if you have set up that way.

Was always planning to get rid of Hanners so will Go Hanners to Merrett seems to be playing a DT type friendly game and with Stevens injury the popular trade Steven to Murphy.
Murphy is predicted to rise approx $60k this week and with further rises should need arise to trade him out should be a sidewise tarde.
Next week will look at Hibberd to Newman and doing something withGeorge Horlin Smith.

Sandilands to WHE and moving Nankervis to R2.

Sandi in DT isn't doing enough to justify keeping him either as a cash cow or keeper and Freo look terrible this year.

The other trade? Dunno yet.

^^ you have me thinking about Sandi now too - not sure why I picked him over Nank/Witts but looks like if I keep him I could lose 20ppg easy

Have the cash to trade him to either or my original plan was upgrading him to Gawn Rd12 - do have Pruess on bench for cover & S.Martin as my premo

I guess the question is - is it worth burning two trades & is Nank/Witts keepers in your guys opinions? Two trades cause I will also need to do an extra downgrade next week to make sure I have enough cash for my rookie to premium upgrade after rd4 (if I choose Nank which would be my fav of the 2). I have already used two trades & am going for overall  :)

GHS to WHE via Taranto possibly not sure what 2nd trade will be
My rucks are fine, started Stefan and Nank there I do have Steven but SPP can cover him will have a proper look tomorrow

Can anyone from the SuperCoach part of this site PLEASE give me the opinion on the above trade I'm thinking about?? So undecided on this one just need a 2nd opinion...

Well, Witts won't be a ruck keeper. Dunno if Nank will be a fwd keeper. If you have no other issues, they'll both make cash, but not sure if it's worth trading Sandi over. I'd either target an early upgrade to Gawn, or stick with Sandi.

Fwiw i started Stef and Gawn as i see them being a fair way ahead of the rest. Grundy could get close but that's about it for me.

I still need to dump Steven and have no idea what to do. I'm actually tempted to grab a premium forward but all the guys I like have the same bye week.....

Thanks heaps GL! wasnt sure if Nank/Witts were keepers prolly should of went the Stef/Gawn combo as you did, easy for me to say now though  :-[

Guess I've just gotta ride Sandi/Pruess out at R2 until RD12 even though I have no other pressing issues prolly still no point if Nank/Witts aren't keepers to burn the trades on them

Thanks again GL

I think Sandi will be fine as a R2. DT the rucks other then Stef have been pretty bleh. He is normally consistent due to the high possession count. I think with Sandi you can get 50 points from just hitouts alone some games so he has a pretty good floor.

Hadn't really thought about it in reagards to if he plays guaranteed 40-50 points on hit outs alone. Another reason I like the idea of keeping him, thanks for the advice Mat  :) He looked like a statue against Port, but will take that 40+ each week, keep the trades & hope for some movement from the big man   8)

To be honest, the one type of ruck that Sandi has traditionally struggled against is like Paddy Ryder. Ryder has been one of the only guys with the athleticism to jump over him and nullify him in the hit out game. Nic Nat has caused similar problems and there was a game a couple of years ago where Ryder beat him doing exactly this.

Haha I'm still not certain either. I really want to get a timeframe on him though. Heard it was gonna be just 1-2 weeks somewhere (can't remember where), and would wanna hold if true. I would have thought at least 3 though myself.
