Yes, Yes, I know. Why wouldn't I get the best player in AF, Zach Merrett :P

It would leave me with no money though and I feel like I should be storing money for future upgrades by getting a Murphy/Gaff type.

Bringing in WHE for Steven and then im going to bring in Newman for one of Horlin-Smith or Hibberd, cant work out which one for right now...

Going to wait till next week for Balic which will likely come in for whoever I dont trade this week, but feel like I need to make the right decision in case one of the two come back next week and other issues come up. Is Horlin-Smith likely to be back next week?

Looking at doing Horlin-Smith to Balic and Omera to Clayton Oliver. Not sure if it is worth the risk and what his continued output is expected to be.

Other trades would be GHS to Balic and Hibberd to Newman.

I went Steven + Mountford --> Oliver and Burton.

That is the risky option - the safer option is Steven and Mountford --> Other Premo + Balic.

I'm not sure either. I think either way Oliver is going to make money, probably more than the rookies short term.  Worst case scenario   we trade him later to a higher player... Really stuck on mine too.

Alao looking at rules 3 trades will be allowed during byes so if this the case may have to save a trade or 2 so can use 3 during this period.

So this comment seemed to go through to the keeper a bit, but is everyone aware of this? It mentions in the rules you can have 3 trades over the bye rounds, but still seems as though you have the same number of trades overall (44).

I reckon this will catch a lot of people out?

Still think using two a week early (unless you have absolutely no reason to) is the best approach because, once you have a full team, that's when you'll no longer need them. Of course, sideways trading is unwise but chasing $ is your best bet early.
