Missed the boat on a few, wondering whether to make trades this week?

WHE is a gun but certainly not a must
Actually - if I did miss the boat I wouldn't jump on as you are already 80 or so points below those that have him and I don't think he'll average +80 meaning he may only make $150-$170k more... similar to BKen last year...

Doesn't this mean you will fall further behind unless you can find a player generating more points per buck than WHE.

So I managed to miss out on Nankervis and WHE, so they'll be coming in next week. The issue now is that will mean I can't bring in Mcgrath to strengthen my backline, or Hannan if he scores well again.

My backline currently consists of: Shaw, Laird, Adams, Marchbank, Otten, Hampton (Hibberd, Steward). With 100k in the bank, do I bring in Mcgrath right now for Hibberd? Meaning I can grab Nank and WHE next week without having to worry about dealing with my backline.

Any advice would be greatly appreaciated. Thank you :)
you have an identical backline to me and im not going mcgrath!

People see a few good scores and think players are must haves.

Will WHE make over 300k more than the player you are trading out, will he be a keeper?
Trades are gold and to me a correction is a missed rookie what will replace one that is not playing or a suspect pick that didnt work out.

I see WHE averaging 80 and Nank 100. No way are either worth wasting trades IMO as we are guessing that they can maintain the form for a full season
if hosking elliot averages 80 thats what i call a cash cow! now im thinking of getting him! he will make 400 easy making him a must!

If he makes 400k that means he will hit 600k and be a premium. He will make 250k max IMO. Great if you started, so so if oyu need to use 2 trades (1 to get him in and 1 to get him out)
sorry wrong choice of words i meant he will reach 400 ! reminds me of kerridge last year! i expect to make 200k!

As Holz has said if you're going for overall you have to select WHE. He's currently averaging 108 so his be will be very very low.

Gonna make truckloads more cash than blokes like Taranto and GHS for similar prices.

Agree of all the 200k rookies WHE would be the only one id be scrambling to get in if i didn't have him.

Nothing quite like hitting the trade button and seeing the new team take shape.

Until you get scared and go for the reverse changes and find out you CANNOT REVERSE after first game of round starts. ;)
