Full lockout is on Friday's, so weekend availability is irrelevant.

If we didn't have leadership groups, loopholing would be easier to do.

There is also a risk at naming a non player. One less viable option, and a lot less leniency if you want to change any of your other 4.

Playing non players has backfired on people before. My view on loopholing is that it's a strategic risk, and adds an element of coaching.

dont think its much of a risk most people have guys who are injured are are zero chance of playing.

M.O'Connor,
K.Murtimer
O.McInnery
J.Parsons

there is a guy on every single line.

Just seems to give a unfair advantage if you happen to have a player playing on Thursday. Just gives you a free bite of the cherry which is totally unrealistic.

leadership doesn't really stop it just minismise it as basically everyone could go 4 real captains and then one fake guy.

not sure why everyone didnt do that probably either

1. they didn't think of doing it
2. they are struggling for captains so need all 5.
3. they think its not the correct way to play the game.

I would like to think must people are in the 3rd category.

i guess the risk is it reduces your bench by 1 spot.

I had the loophole used against me and still crushed the opponent.

Dublin - Pride in Excellence.

we don't resort to loopholes we beat you fair and square.

Holz I doubt you would be having this same view if you thought to put a non-playing guy in your leadership group in the first place. :P

hmm so forgot about this. Silvagni and Macredie on the bench would be nice. Was also going to VC martin.

Great read Purps!

We'll win. Fyfey won't have a big one, he won't do it to me.

Brayshaw will ton up just to add insult to injury. ;)

Mind you though Ada, although I think he is a gun, I have concerns on his ball winning ability. So if he gets a ton, even with you guys,... I'm not seeing the negative :P

The Revolution - along with the Islanders - are really ones to look out for this year. In a game where they had five sub 65 players at a neutral venue, they still managed to hit 140 on the back of 5 low centurions and a customary random berserker game from JJK. That midfield has scope, is all I’m sayin. The Samurai came home hard last week to notch up a good win against the Sands; with the likes of Atkins, Young, Cameron and Ruggles notching up 431 between them. Yeah. No, sorry Tokyo, but I remember some similar bull shower in our Round 1 game last year and you never replicated it again :P. Do it twice in a row, and I’ll get off your case. With that never fading scar in mind, I’ll tip the Revoluton to account for the teasing Samurai.

Whenever you insult Tokyo it backfires, please continue  :P

I totally thought about it thats why i had 4 spots out of 5 filled in.

Then went nah, thats cheap.

Did forget about the emergency loophole at that point but it was mainly just because NDT did it to me so more about payback. would prefer that nobody did it.

Must admit was abit worried about NDT mainly because of the loop holing giving them a big head start and was tricked into thinking they where actually decent because of all the hype.

Holz do you loophole in SC or RDT?

I not really the biggest fan of it either but it's more just that it's there you may as well.

I do but thats because you have to or fall behind.

Plus there is a big big difference, in SC you need to actually pick a guy who will not play on a limited team of 30. In worlds every single team has players who do not play. With far far bigger benches it gives much more of a scope to do emergency loophole.

The other big difference is in worlds we only get the benefit of having Thursday games not all week so everyone has the same advantage.

If i chose to do it im lucky enough to have Dustin Martin last week and Adam Treloar this week as captain options. Other teams dont have that luxury.

its a simple solution your not allowed to name anyone who isnt named in the 22 or emergency. So if you legit have an acualt out the system supports you rather then obvious exploitation like Mitchell Hinge being a captain.

Dont really mind if it stays: its just pretty cheap and I reckon some coaches will be annoyed if they end up losing a game because the other coach used loopholes on them.

Lets be real here, your only doging and moaning because you didnt realise how to do it.

Its not like this is new to Worlds.
