Robbie Gray?

Does anyone have any info or just personal opinion on Robbie Gray? I heard he was underdone in the preseason, (probably wouldnt have picked him had I known that) and initially, may play more forward as a result. Also, the effectiveness of the Port midfield (Wines, Boak, Ebert) last week and emergence of SPP, may limit his midfield time. Do I look at jumping ship or stickfat? Obviously its only been one game (I have Hanners too and wont be rage trading him out on one poor performance) but if the aforementioned is to be the case, he may start slow and possibly not get to his previous average(s). I have enough change in the bank to get anyone except Danger, thanks to my Sandiwitts combo!!

Port also has the round 9 bye so another whammy. Give him a week and then assess.

Thanks LF and Bully. Thats the article I was referring to. Might give him one more week to see what role he plays before cutting the cord. The rest of my team Im happy with and rookies performed reasonably well.

Give him a week minimum. Seriously, Ebert and a rookie keeping him out of the mids for the foreseeable future? I don't buy it, you want your best player touching the ball more than 8 times. I'm thinking he'll be a very value pick sooner or later, he'll dominate post byes.

totally disagree only two teams are missing that week it means that you have these guys through the whole byes. silly to load up on them but i picked up Lynch and im very happy with him.

i think he is under priced and will average 100.

I picked Ryder as my F3 as I have Nankervis and Sandilands at R1 and R2.

Or you grab him after his bye and don't cop the rookie score that week being the premo down. Jusaying.

Agree totally with Holz. I went Gazza and he is the only player from that bye I have and expect to keep. But if there had been more I would have selected them with no worries.  Cheers.

There was no reason not to have picked 1 or 2 of them if you think they are going to be one of the top scorers on the line and under-priced.

The extra points you gain over the first 8 rounds will offset the one week a rookie has to play instead. Will also be a lot harder for others to bring them in post bye if they've increased their prices after a couple of big games.
