there has obviously been scratch matches in Victoria to justify inclusions this week. Any chance someone can provide me with a link for thebstats if such matches. Interested to see how broomhead went or does anyone have any updates ?

no mention of broomhead, may of been travelling emergy?

I know Melburnians joke about how far away it is and how hard it is to find but Docklands isn't somewhere you'd have a traveling emergency ;D
Scrap that, they didn't even play at Docklands they played at the MCG last week :P

Hoping for some Grundy magic tomorrow night like we saw last year when these sides met.

Okay, what do you call the emergency held out of the VFL game for the seniors? He doesn't seem to have played magoos last week.

Not a traveling emergency in this case :P But yes it seems like he was held out of that match in case of a late injury in the AFL game :)

Jeez I hope he misses. Would be a HUGE leg up.

Better if he plays and shares ruck duties. Need his price to go down.

In terms of ruck contests attended in Round 1, Stefan Martin attended the most of any player (86), while Shane Mumford and Jarrod Witts ranked equal-second with 80 attendances. Gawn ranked 11th with 64 and Goldstein was 15th with 56.

He was ranked 11th on the weekend, I don't think that's going to really hurt him all that much, especially with the way he was getting behind our defense in the JLT game.

For those that have Smith at Melbourne (me being one of them), he's out for 4 weeks.

AFL injury list is saying 16 weeks and the ever relaible Supercoach Gold is saying rd 18 return too. I have him.

Hayward, Newman and Fox are all meant to Debut this week for Sydney. Newman could be a saving grace. Solid JS with Rampe out you'd think and if Otten or Hibberd gets dropped. Solid replacement.

How long is Rampe out for? Will have a look at Newman over the next 2 weeks, but yeah, could really help out those with Smith, and possibly Otten and Hibberd.
