Round 13 Milestone Players - 100th game

Alex Rance (Dublin)
Club History: Wellington --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 148 (Round 9) of the initial draft selected by former Wellington coach pothead

Turned out to be a huge bargain all the way at Pick 148! The pure and absolute defensive gun is part of the furniture at Dublin, whom memorably forked over Pick 1 to Wellington for his services.

Scott Pendlebury (Toronto)
Club History: Toronto --> Buenos Aires --> Toronto
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 1 (Round 1) of the initial draft selected by former Toronto coach roo boys

Our first WXVs player reaches the ton! The most reliable and ton-scoring player in history rightfully found his way back home after a controversial stint at Buenos Aires. Absolute champion.

Round 13 Milestone Players - 50th game

Josh Kelly (Seoul)
Club History: Seoul
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 7 (Round 1) of the 2013 International draft selected by current Seoul coach JBs-Hawks

Lewis Taylor (Toronto)
Club History: Wellington --> Rio de Janeiro --> Toronto
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 22 (Round 2) of the 2013 International draft selected by former Wellington coach pothead

Marcus Bontempelli (Pacific)
Club History: Pacific
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 8 (Round 1) of the 2013 International draft selected by current Pacific co-coach Jay

Mark Blicavs (Cape Town)
Club History: Mexico City --> Cape Town
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 54 (Round 3) of the 2012 Rookie draft, auto-selected to Mexico City to a very salty Maca24 at the time :P

A very memorable milestone week!

Our first 2013 draftee milestone players! Kelly, Bont & Taylor, picked at 7, 8 & 22!

Feel like you really missed out there JB

Kelly & Bont are still playing under the coaches that selected them too!

Adamant

PENDLES! Coming off a 78 and playing his 100th game... watch out PNL.

Good on Lewy Taylor as well. Bit ironic that he and Bont are playing their 50th game in the same round. :P

JBs-Hawks

Haha i did really want Billings, but pretty chuffed with Josh now!

Round 14 Milestone Players - 100th game

Kade Simpson (Mexico City)
Club History: PNL --> Mexico City
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 122 (Round 7) of the initial draft selected by current PNL co-coach Hellopplz

Simmo has had his fair share of delivering as the last man standing. I can remember two occasions off the top of my head: 1) Whilst playing for PNL, he got EurAsia the win at the time (ignoring the fact that one year later, I realised I made a counting mistake...), and 2) just recently winning a match for Mexico City against Pacific. Forever a reliable defender, Simmo might not make the headlines that often, but he's always there. Gun.

Nick Riewoldt (Mexico City)
Club History: Mexico City
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 94 (Round 6) of the initial draft selected by current Dublin coach Holz

Despite being picked up by Dublin, Riewoldt has played his ENTIRE 100 games with Mexico City. The heartbreak of missing out on the 2012 premiership has spurred this champion on to be a stalwart of the Suns offence; reliably putting up regular tons. A champion of the game.

Round 14 Milestone Players - 50th game

Jeremy McGovern (Cairo)
Club History: Cairo
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 681 (Round 38: the last round) of the initial draft selected by former Wellington coach pothead

Kudos for McGovern to reach 50 games for one club, coming from the last round of the initial draft!

Can I make a request? Could you include the WXV averages in the milestone write ups if possible? Simmo and NRoo would have put up 100 games at an incredible average vs someone who started as a rookie and built up to it. Would be interesting to see the difference.

I'd be interested too, but that's firmly placed in the too-hard basket for me. That's an ossie-kinda job

Haha fair enough Purps. You do outstanding work and I felt bad asking you to do more.

Jroo

Two Mexico City champions, will be sad to see them go soon  :'(

Round 15 Milestone Players - 100th game

Matt Priddis (PNL)
Club History: PNL
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 14 (Round 1) of the initial draft selected by current PNL co-coach Hellopplz

100 games pulling HelloBurg's sleigh, the ever dependable Priddis is arguably their greatest club man in their nearly 6 year history. Touching that both coach and player were PNL's first and current.

Sam Jacobs (Rio de Janeiro)
Club History: Sao Paulo --> Rio de Janeiro
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 33 (Round 2) of the initial draft selected by former Sao Paulo premiership coach CrowsFan

Sam Jacobs has achieved the ultimate prize of a premiership medallion with Sao Paulo in 2013, but once more with Rio in 2016! No wonder this guy hasn't left Brazil! An incredible 100 games.

Todd Goldstein (Dublin)
Club History: Cairo --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 9 (Round 1) of the initial draft selected by current Cairo co-coach MajorLazer

Goldy will forever regret sitting out both the 2014 and 2015, with his controversial tactic of starting the pre-season a week earlier holding true in both years. A fine career could have turned great if he got up for 2014, but not to be. A Dublin mainstay.

Round 15 Milestone Players - 50th game

Zach Merrett (PNL)
Club History: PNL
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 26 (Round 2) of the 2013 International draft selected by... Justin Bieber

Round 16 Milestone Players - 100th game

Tom Hawkins (Dublin)
Club History: Cape Town --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 150 (Round 9) of the initial draft selected by former Cape Town coach My Chumps

Part of the losing Cape Town 2012 Grand Final team, Tom now finds himself with another shot at premiership glory with the Destroyers this year. A bargain recruit you could argue for Pick 150.

Round 16 Milestone Players - 50th game

Koby Stevens (Cairo)
Club History: New York --> New Delhi --> Christchurch --> Cairo
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 377 (Round 21) of the initial draft selected by current Tokyo coach Boomz

Round 17 Milestone Players - 100th game

Andrew Gaff (Pacific)
Club History: New York --> New Delhi --> Pacific
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 173 (Round 10) of the initial draft selected by former New York coach Sid

One of the most durable players you'll find

David Mundy (New York)
Club History: Dublin --> New York
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 51 (Round 3) of the initial draft selected by current Dublin coach Holz

The last original Dubliner to leave the club IIRC

Round 17 Milestone Players - 50th game

Jack Crisp (Moscow)
Club History: Toronto --> Buenos Aires --> Moscow
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 32 (Round 2) of the 2011 Pre-Season draft selected by former Wellington coach pothead

Unique origin!

Finals Week 1 Milestone Players - 100th game

Adam Treloar (Dublin)
Club History: Moscow --> New York --> Berlin --> Dublin
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 304 (Round 17) of the initial draft selected by former Beijing coach bomberboy.

Ah yes, the ol' Brian Lake FOR Adam Treloar trade. meow, you sneaky devil you.

Finals Week 1 Milestone Players - 50th game

Jack Martin (New Delhi)
Club History: Pacific --> New Delhi
Origin of Recruitment: Pick 6 (Round 1) of the 2012 International draft selected by former Pacific coach c4v3m4n
