Reported to only miss 1 or 2 weeks

Have to hold.

Yeah will hold. They said he'll be running this week.
Just sucks now having to play one of Pickett / Parfitt / Eddy. But the league games haven't started yet so happy to hold.
Unless I do a correction now for one of them to Houston / Butler, planned to do next week.
But lets face it, they'll all prob get 50. Best case one of them gets dropped and i a loophole window opens  ;D

Still tempted to move on and just use the one trade this week. Swap for Shaw/Adams and push Marchbank/Hampton to D5/6

Leaves more rookies in FWD/MID to correct next week. Dahl, Steele, Roughie and Nank can hold down F1-4

This was so frustrating. He looked so good. Not sure what to do

I'd trade, but if you're gonna keep him this week then you gotta commit to holding him until he returns.

Do you have Butler? If so then wait for his score to roll in and then make a judgement. You at least have the benefit of a forward loop before making a call.

Good call that. I am currently torn with the Roo trade, I know they're now saying only 1-2 weeks, but the type of injury it is could easily blow out to 3-4 weeks if he's not quite right. The only cash league I'm playing in this year is a 10 team league, which means head to head starts Rd 2. So if Butler spuds it, i'll probably go Roo>Higgins and bank a bit of cash for Rd 3 corrective trades.

Other option is to swing Nank into forwards and bring Witts into ruck, will put some cash in the bank but I'm a bit iffy on whether Witts can put up consistently reliable scores...........

Don't have Butler either. Id rather sideways trade Pickett to hannan or Butler for (hopeful) better cover vs trading out rooey. Otherwise got play 1 of parfitt, Pickett, Eddy.

So bloody confused on what to do now... The man himself has said he will be out for 2-6 weeks. I'm leaning towards keeping, but only like 55:45. What are others doing?

Moving him on.

Taking the opportunity to restructure and move Hampton to D6 through some DPP action. Really don't want anything to do with other DEF rookies so the less I have back there the better.

Wanted to hold him.. but thought starting round 3 and maybe 4 fielding bad rookies.
with news of Otten and Hibberd possibly out, I'll have a zero don't back to with the Vince susp. Thinking Higgins and Marchbank/McGrath for riewoldt and ottten.

Gone to T.Adams for me via parfitt and hibberd, bit of a reshuffle but I think i need to sure up defense a little and can bring in one of Hannan/Butler/WHE to play F6 hopefully next week

Very similar situation. I'm tossing up between Shaw/Adams. Worried about having to waste another trade on Adams in the future though but it leaves just enough next week to grab WHE, otherwise i'll have to rely on Pickett...

colmullet

I just think out of all the positions (for me at least) he's the one i see as being a lock for top positions and may not be as cheap again for a while given how he looks, just hoping his body lasts out the season

Ringo

"It's seems like Nick Riewoldt is in the dark about his time frame to return from injury as much as we are as coaches.

When asked on The Footy Show last night about his prognosis Roo predicted he was anywhere from 2-to-6 weeks away from returning.

Not good news for us as Supercoaches!"

Probably time to trade out especially if at upper end.
