Was pretty happy with starting Roo until he got injured. Scored a solid 105.

He's been cleared of any structual damage. but he has sustained some bone bruising. I've seen some say 2-6 weeks. So the question is do we trade or hold? I feel like if I hold he'll be out longer but if I trade he'll come back next week because that's the way it goes  ::)

Dump him. You can't sit him for that long and bone bruising is pretty nuts. Check out the whole Joel Embiid situation in the NBA where he suffered 'bone bruising' and he is now sitting the season. They reckon it can take a month and considering Roo has had issues with his knee in the past it's a recipe for disaster.

Can't be holding players so early with 30 trades in the bank

Easy trade

Tough call, it's usually the 3 week rule with me. He's borderline with that and he also has an outstanding record for recovery. I'd be inclined to hold for a week, loophole if possible, and then assess week 3. It may be a case of downgrading to free up some cash, Steele, Miller, Ryder etc

Gigantor

I can't imagine anyone has any decent forward cover so a trade is a must imo

Jack Steele will certainly be tempting, I'd just love to have a definitive time frame. Frustrating.

I'm really considering T.Miller he looked really good last night or buddy

I'd honestly trade to JJK

Yeah he might have 2 or 3 sub 60 scores but his ceiling is massive and he's gone 90+ the last 4 years

I've never had him - KPP so I have avoided but this year with the lack of prems I am going to get him eventually

Be chasing points to an extent, he won't be kicking 7 goals every week.

I agree. Have him from R1 or not at all. If he had a 45 then maybe you'd bring him in as you'd get a leg up probably on those who started him but I'd be looking at Dahlhaus, Macrae, Nank, Steele or Higgins.

If we need to trade it'll either be Buddy or down to Steele for some cash for me.

Just sucks to use a few injury trades so early...

juzztheball

Will most likely trade him down to Hannan and trade J  Smith (Def) up to Heath Shaw, depending on the severity of his injury

Reported to only miss 1 or 2 weeks

Would still trade, it could easily turn into a 4 week thing despite them suggesting otherwise. Happened with Laird last year when they initially said 1-2 but it ended up blowing out to a 4 week thing and it burnt me badly. You have 30 trades anyway, it's plenty considering we used to only get 20 in the early years!

Would wait and see how Steele goes against West Coast away this week before bringing him in though. The ultimate test to see if he's the real deal.

Nroo > Dahlhaus, Macrae, Higgins or Ryder IMO
