Yeah that's why I said I would wait till at least after round 2 for to make a decision. LOL!

The old me would have traded Treloar after lockout opened!  ;D

Bully

Treloar will be fine, you'll love him when he rips out a 170.

Treloar didn't have a big impact on the game after quarter time. Too much uncontested ball and butchers it every now and then as well.

Locked in DT and AF, Pendles soooo much better in SC

I don't know if I should trade out Treloar if he goes under 100 again next week.

Didn't really realise that he is more DT than SC as I have never had him before.

Maybe a round 2 correctional trade to JPK, Rockcliff, Bont if another Treloar sub 100 performance....  :-\
He's still a decent pick, will be a top 15 mid i reckon. But i don't really get why some people dropped Pendles for him and are shocked at his score tonight. It was a 110-115 game at best, but with so many DT points scored, SC scores were going to be comparatively lower, so 96 is pretty close to the mark for him tonight.

I am one of those who have gone Treloar over Pendles

Pendles has reached his ceiling in terms of SC improvement but Treloar has plenty of scope to improve his output which is why a lot went him over Pendles.

Pendles was BOG by a mile tonight. Treloar played quite well. Just a few clangers cost him a 110+ score. He'll be alright.

Here's hoping guys. :)

I reckon I've picked a really strong starting squad this year and Treloar is the only one I have been slightly disappointed with so far. LOL!

B - Shaw, Adams, Laird, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten (Hibberd, Stewart)
M - Dangerfield, Pendles, Fyfe, Beams, T.Mitchell, Treloar, O'Meara, Petrevski-Setton (Powell-Pepper, Barrett, Parfitt)
R - Nankervis, Sandilands (Strnadica)
F - Dahlhaus, Higgins, Ryder, Steele, Hoskin-Elliot, Taranto (Eddy, Houston)

clangers cost treloar. watched the game he and pendles had leather poisoning but yeah missed the target a few times

My Chumps

Jeeeeesus, two games in and people are tearing champion data's walls down

If you want to question the scoring every time one of your players scores less than you expected go play DT, boy-oh-boy

NickyBoy

Still backing him. It's only round 1

I agree with RD here.

Treloar played one of the most outside games I've seen him play and butchered it. I wasn't actually too disappointed with 96, the only difference between him and Adams was the intercept marks and efficiency, and between him and Pendles were those contested disposals. Not to mention an extra goal.

This time next week, we could be talking about a 150ish score from Treloar and a 100ish score from Pendles.

Not me, some of us are stupid :(

I don't have him either. I had locked Doc in and then it was 2 of Shaw, Simmo and Adams, I went Shaw and Simmo.
Bias said pick Rance, whoops.

How can we all be SOOOO in the dark as to how players supercoach scores work out i.e. Marchbank last night, Trelore and Bontempelli tonight, when we have all been doing this for years?!? There is obviously a lot of "interpretation" that goes on, but how can it be so inconsistent?? Surely the scoring is black and white?'
Undortunately it is somewhat subjective,

What some may call an effective disposal others wouldn't, same can be said for contested disposals hence why I think there's so much debate over Treloar's score. Just like in tennis with unforced and forced errors, and soccer with "shots on goal" it can be subjective.

Could you imagine being the guys that have to figure this shower out live during a game.

They literally have a truck of people at the ground, each has a computer and is designated to a specific outcome, ie - contested possessions, marks, tackles and so on. A game caller calls out who gets what and you just put a tick against the players name.

At least that's my understanding from a mate who's seen it in the flesh

Yep that's my understanding too.

Gotta cut them some slack, they do a fairly good job.

Yep if you don't understand the scoring do some research. There's plenty of info online explaining most of the scoring
