Marchbank had 5 clangers last night and only 22 touches but got 97. I know her took a few contested marks from opposition kicks, but didn't hit the scoreboard or have any clearances she went at worse disposal efficiency.

The fact is, he was inefficient tonight and delivered a below average score. As opposed to Pendles, who had almost a career best game.

Not too worried, he just has to touch up efficiency and that 96 becomes 126.

Marchbank had something like 12 intercept possessions which are SC gold.

Pendles was also leading the game in intercept possessions in the 1st quarter with 3.

Was thinking he would at least get 105-110 SC.

On a brighter note I am wrapped with my Hoskin Elliot selection at F5 and wacking the VC on Pendles.  ;D

And happy with Adams but everyone has him....  :-X

I don't have him either. I had locked Doc in and then it was 2 of Shaw, Simmo and Adams, I went Shaw and Simmo.

i can understand Treloar's score. no idea how Bont got 120 but i'm happy i've picked him if he is going to score like this for a game like that!

How can we all be SOOOO in the dark as to how players supercoach scores work out i.e. Marchbank last night, Trelore and Bontempelli tonight, when we have all been doing this for years?!? There is obviously a lot of "interpretation" that goes on, but how can it be so inconsistent?? Surely the scoring is black and white?'

Undortunately it is somewhat subjective,

What some may call an effective disposal others wouldn't, same can be said for contested disposals hence why I think there's so much debate over Treloar's score. Just like in tennis with unforced and forced errors, and soccer with "shots on goal" it can be subjective.

I was at the game and the Bont was pretty special. The amount of clever touches, handballs and kicks that set up goals was very high. He only needs his 20-25 a game to get the 110+ scores...

They count knock on's for SC points. He actually had quite a few that resulted in scoring chains. Did everyone forget the Cotchin 37 point knock on to beat Freo a few years ago?

We have this discussion every year has to SC scoring and each year we come back and still complain so something must be OK to bring us back or we would not.
For the newer ones SC has a points allocation from CD of 3300 points per game so very subjectively they say they review scores after full time and make adjustments accordingly to get the 3300 points. So the scaling is the issue we have each year.
Will keep coming back and keep cursing CD over some scores part of the fun of the game.
