Will you get Butler's score?

It seems crazy to bring in a floating donut just to take a score of 96, but if Darcy Cameron or someone else looks like getting a game in round 2, it could be worth a try. Will you bring in a floating donut to take Butler's score?

I've got no one to put in so I can take Butlers score. All of my bench players are playing besides Cameron who I can't sub because Nankervis played.

Have you got a loophole somewhere else? You can bring Sterndicka into your forward line.

But then i'd have to trade a playing rookie out and then leave him on the bench to rot. I just don't think it's worth it for one score.

This guy was in such a rush leaving work he forgot to set the emergencies for last night.

Guess that takes care of the conundrum.

I've mentioned it before on the other threads but the best way to do this is to pick Witts & Ryder and move Strnadica to the forward line (Witts on bench & Ryder at R2).

This set-up will give you a loophole for the next 6 weeks provided you have Eddy as well.

R1-3 Butler plays on Friday or Saturday arvo (Ryder becomes swingman)
R4-6 Eddy plays before Butler (Nankervis becomes swingman)

So with a 96 already pegged to the Witts account, one can spend up on other positions on the ground.

Last night in the rage I was thinking straight out Pickett to Butler but I don't unless Butler really smashes it in R2 and even then I probably won't. I got Papley in last year and really, even with a couple of tons early, unless they back it up week in, week out, the cash generation isn't worth a sideways trade. Will always be downgrade options down the track.

I already was set to get Butlers score if he played well.
I am using Strnadica as the loophole with Butler/Eddy as well. I chose to do this as I couldn't afford any other playing rookie than Houston at F8. So instead of Strnadica at R3 and Houston F8 I opted to go Preuss R3 and Strndica F8. Gives me Ruck Cover and still lets me CPT loophole and now FWD loophole Butler and Eddy. Plan will be that Preuss makes some $$ and then I just trade him to a FWD rookie later on and eventually leave Strandica at R3 like I planned originally.
RUCKS: Gawn / Sandi (Preuss)
FWDS: Dahlhaus / Franklin / Rough / WHE / Taranto / Eddy (E-Butler / Strnadica)
I would have preferred if Cameron was playing and used him instead of Preuss though cause he has the DPP.

Can't use it unless I get rid of Parfitt I know this kid will be dropped in the next week or 2 if I keep him players like Selwood , Guthrie , Menegola , Kolo , Lang will be lining up for his place if he blinks don't know what to do  :-\

Would anyone bench Sandi or Ryder to get this 96? I feel like they won't both ton up, but there probably isn't a whole lot to be gained.

quinny88

Think this comes up every year that a rookie plays well in round 1. Not worth trading in someone in the hope they get a game in the near future. Cameron is no garuntee

I'd only look at Cameron as a R3 to loophole your 2nd ruck this week. While Cameron was expected to be named the Swans also have Sinclair ready to go and who knows how long an infected finger takes to heal.

GoLions

Probably won't get his score, mostly because i didn't start him
