Is Marchbank a must?

Needs to average 74 to be worth it IMO. Can't see it happening if Easton Wood averaged less than that last year.

The whole "needs to average" thing I don't care about. There's a lack of def rookies which is why we have to pay up. It's the same with Taranto etc

What's the point of picking him? Get another Def premo in and play a mid rookie. Will get you more points and more money in the long run.

I'm struggling to put one mid rookie on field let alone two

I currently have no mid rookies on field.

I am also struggling whether or not marchbank is a must or not.

the defense premos suck, im not payting 550k for Simpson or Docherty.

Rather splash the cash on a true premo like Treloare or Selwood.

Treloar yes, Selwood not so sure. His average away from home is 100 and that's where he'll be playing in the early rounds.

As for Docherty, 16 tons, lowest score of 76. You get him in now or it may be tough down the track. Can see him shedding 50k but won't dip below 500k in my opinion.

he was on zero at 1/4 time. Ive been following his points. Up to 40 odd but has had heaps of it this 1/4 including 2 contested intercept mark which are 16+ alone. Wouldnt be surprised at all if all 40 were scored this term
