Question a few of us are deciding on so thought a poll makes it easier

Money Shot

Taranto:

Proven that he can score well in a strong side
Looks like he is set in the side until about round 6-7 when Coniglio/Whitfield come back
Expensive so will need to be consistent to make cash

SPS:
Hasn't had a full preseason
Best 22 which means he will be good for 15+ games
Cheaper so won't need to score as well to make cash
Unsure on his scoring potential

I think Deledio is more relevant than the other two, apparently 4 weeks away.

4 could turn into 6 or 8 with Lid's shonky legs but do we take a risk on this SPS for $190 K not ever having seen him play he might score 30's and not cope with playing AFL and be dropped after a couple of games for all we know ? but that is the risk you take with rookies but am leaning towards Taranto

SPS for me, job security would be iron clad and is cheaper. Have seen enough of this kid at junior level to know he's got the scoring ability. He wins plenty of contested ball and loves to kick, in fact his kicking is exceptional on both sides of his body. His movements are cat like and he can pick the ball off the turf even if it's bouncing at right angles. He's not a noted goal kicker which may hinder his scoring ability but I think he's good for a 65 average.

SPS has a contested possession rate of 48% across the 52 games Champion Data has covered. More suited to #SuperCoach than #AFLFantasy.

Needing some advice because i'm somewhat considering getting SPS into my team, only if it suits my structures.

I'd have to move Taranto into the midfield, but would mean that i'd have two rookies into the forward line.

I'd have to switch Pickett to my foward line which would read

Riewoldt Dahlhaus Lynch Nankervis Pickett Parfitt.

Is it worth doing that to get Petrevski-Seton onto my bench in the midfield?

I wouldn't have him on the bench, if you had Taranto in the middle and Pickett/Parfitt at F5/6, couldn't you just sub Taranto to the forward line for one of them and put SPS on the field?

My dilemma is i don't want Pickett on the field. I just don't see him scoring enough to warrant playing at F5.

Plus if I end up getting SPS onto my midfield I'd have to take SPP out which at the moment i'm rating Powell-Pepper a better scorer early in the season the Petrevski-Seton.

EDIT: I've only got 10k in the bank so getting rid of Taranto is my only option to get him in.

If i had it my way id have SPP over Taranto, however there are no safe rookie options in the forward line, cant take the risk

Played WAFL last year.

Averaged 23 disposals, 4 marks and 5 tackles a game. Contested possession at 48% or something.
