Will Dusty be a top 8 mid?

Have to chose between him and Jelly because they are the only good mids that I don't have that have the round 12 bye.

Basically Dusty + 70k v Jelly

Any reasons why Dusty's scoring has gone down in the last few weeks? He was tagged against Brisbane, but how about in the other two?

He butchered the ball and had a sore groin against Melbourne, and his team got smashed by the Crows.

In my opinion other teams have started sorting out Richmond's game plan, hence the drop in form.  Martin is the core of their attack so he's been getting a lot more attention than early in the year.  I wouldn't go near dusty, someone like Yeo a much safer investment.

Swayed my opinion, looks like I'll be getting Jelly.

Don't hear that one often around here. Both are roller coasters, Dusty's always been a high ceiling lower floor type of player.

22 games 102 average
21 games 100 average
22 games 105 average
22 games 107 average

and now

112 average 540k

19 games 62 average
13 games  66 average
21 games 82 average
19 games 75 average

and now

112 average 509k.

besides the fact Yeo is a forward and i guess the argument is there is less competition for top 6 fwd then top 8 mids. He is far far riskier.

if i had to put a number to it i would say Martin is 95%+ chance to outscore Yeo over the rest of the season.

im obviously looking at Martin but his real competition is not Yeo but.

Franklin 440k
Pendles 575k
Treloar 540k
JJK 508k!!!!!

Why you would pick yeo over JJK is beyond me.

back to back 22 game season over 94 and 98.

Yeo essentially has a much upside as all these other guys just far far more downside.

Bully

Tried to get Dusty in this week but the numbers didn't stack up. With Nank also out Buddy has become a no-brainer. Next week it will be Dusty and hopefully he drops another 10k or so. For a guy averaging 111 he's a steal. He also suits my bye structure.

Ringo

Dusty will be at his cheapest next week with a B/E of 132 with his 65 involved as well. So that is the time to look at him and trade. Have 2 spaces in the mids at the moment and have not made my mind up as who to get. Sloane if his price comes down a bit could be one,

well thats it im picking being up Buddy this week with the plan to pick up Dmart next week.

If Dmart goes huge for 150 he will go up like 10k to 550k and prove to me he is a steal given he has averaged 117 from the first 7 rounds.

If he spuds its up can wait another week to see.

So thats why im not picking Dusty.

Also another reason is i need to cover nank up forward and also SPP will make some cash because of his good score next week.

Hampton SPP to Rookie Dmart makes loads of sense.

quinny88

Had my eye on Dusty all pre season and especially licking my lips when he scored that 65.
Will see what happens this week but im not worried by scores in the 90s knowing he can go 150 at any time.
I guess he's an awkward one if you're more into winning your league. Could win you or lose you a game very easily
