I don't know how it happened but this bloke has appeared in my side this morning.

Handy bye. Improves with every passing year. Will wanna go big in his contract year. (I don't by into negotiations influencing performance). POD.

Are the treloars of the world better than this bloke?

Yes

and now that they have Caddy, prestia and a bit of mid strength he will play more forward time (best 1v1 player) My opinion would be that would slightly reduce his scoring this year.

im slightly worried about talk of him being in the forward line abit. When he plays forward I see him averaging 103-105. When he plays the whole game in the mid he can go 115.

just look at last year he started slow then went into the mid and exploded.

Just got to monitor where he is playing. Treloar i know will be 100% mid basically so more comfortable with him.

Yep time spent up forward for Martin is too much of an unknown at this stage.

Basically I agree with what iZander said.

Richmond are a better team when Dusty is playing more forward and kicking goals. This could reduce his SC output.

With the arrival of Caddy and Prestia Richmond will be less reliant on Dusty in the mids which allows more forward time.

When there are options such as Hanneberry, Treloar etc at similar prices it is safer to pick those over Martin because of the potential forward time Dusty could play.

Hardwick has stated Martin & Cotchin will spend more time forward this year, both will rotate with Caddy. Prestia's arrival makes all this possible.

They are??

I would have said this year has thrown up less similar teams than normal

The ruck situation has thrown up quite a few different options by itself.

Throw in the mid pricers putting their hand up in the forward line

and then numerous quality premo defenders down back

could be a good pod. but some many other mids will av higher by years end

He's got shower tattoos. Treloar doesn't. Easy choice.

I think he will average 110 but I'm still not picking him to start. I wouldn't start treloar either though. Prefer to play it safe with guys I know will go 115+

That would be Danger & Pendles, don't think you can bank on that from any other player.

Danger, Pendles, Fyfe, Rockliff

Kennedy I have ahead of Dusty and Beams too cheap to ignore. I think all of my mids have a good chance of going 115. Wouldn't be as confident of Dusty doing it

A good case for Fyfe if he remains fit. Don't know about Rocky this year, I just have a feeling he'll be spending a lot more time forward.
