Dusty 3...

Prestia 2, Houli 1? Cotch the other one there to consider...

Dusty 3 by a mile but personally would have Cotchin 2 and Prestia 1. Cotchin had 32 disposals and 12 tackles
Yeah after Dusty it'll be hard to split the next few. I felt like i noticed Prestia a bit more (35 touches, 20 were kicks), not sure how much the umps notice the tackles as well haha.

And Houli was also very good. Might have to pick em out of a hat haha. Cotchin's polling history though might get him the 2 or 1 however...

Didn't know where else to say it but flower Danger is having an incredible year.

Last year kicked 23 goals all year, already has 22 and we're 11 games in. Has kicked multiple goals on 7 occasions and bags of 3 or more in 5/11 games all whilst averaging 30 touches and 6 tackles per game.

That is an incredible statistic. He's on track for 45 goals this season as a midfielder. Talk about MVP.
Having an incredible year but Jelwoods been better imo. Has won them several games, always lifts at the right moment

Apart from injury, suspension or considerably form drop it looks like its a 3-horse race. If jelwood takes votes of danger, then I think dusty and sloane could be value. Long road yet but dusty n danger have firmed up a lot in price atm
from their fantastic round this week.

RaisyDaisy

Dusty, Jelwood, Danger and Sloane

4 horse race, and their gap on the pack is only widening

I'd love to see Dusty and Jelwood both win it

The Danger/Jelwood votes is gonna decide who gets it I reckon. I currently have Danger on 20, with Jelwood on 14 (i.e. 3 games where I've given Danger the 3 compared to you giving Jelwood the 3). They make it bloody tough for us every single week haha.

Before the Freo/Tigs game I'm now looking at:

20 - Danger, Dusty
19 - Sloaney
15 - Kelly
14 - Jelwood
12 - Ablett
11 - Tmitch

One or two of Pendles, Neale, Adams, Treloar will be up there with Ablett if they poll well today. Bont, Rocky, Beams with the bye this week could catch up a bit in the next 2 weeks when others have their bye, but wouldn't be able to catch Jelwood yet unless they poll both games the next 2 weeks and Jelwood doesn't poll in R13.

Going to be an interesting finish to the season post-byes!

The games where I've given the nod to Jelwood are when he's been the more consistent one, Danger did some amazing things when required at multiple times, but Jelwood just gets it done for the entire game.

The thing that may hurt Kelly is that it sometimes takes the umps a year to take notice of the breakout players.
Numerous occasions where a breakout player hasn't polled well but then polled well the next year after they have become well known

I think this might have held him back a bit earlier in the season, but guys like Ward, Shaw, Shiel, etc. haven't been as noticeable as usual so don't see those guys stealing many votes at all so far.

Still a lot of footy to go, but Jelwood at $15 to win is super juicy with 10 more games to come
