Another clear 3 vote game for Sloane, puts him 4 clear of Danger and 5 of Selwood/Martin on my count.

I went Selwood 3 and Danger 2, they were hard to split but were the two best easy, went with Selwood as I though he was better across the whole game, while waa Danger was very good in spurts but quiet for long periods in between. 3 Burgoyne, 2 Buddy and 1 JPK for the Hawks game.

A couple of thing of interest from the AFLCA votes this week.

Matt Crouch got the perfect 10 votes v Freo.  Pendles got 9 votes but I though Treloar, Beams and Zorko got the nod ahead of him but Treloar did not get a single vote.

Nor did Bontempelli who would have been flemington straight BOG if he kicked straight.

Their trackers are pretty accurate most years and I use it as a reference when doing my bets and I've won every year for years

The problem is, so many people here and in fantasy land use the stats, scores etc to decide their votes and even do it subconsciously without even realising

The umps vote based on what they saw, nothing more. They don't review stats etc so that's why I like using the afl and herald sun predictors because the people doing them are voting based on what they saw only

Not saying they get it right all the time, but they've been very good sources for me over the years and I try to avoid any polls by fantasy people when betting, because unless you watched the game from start to finish without looking at a single stat your vote is somewhat influenced and stat reliant which the umps are not

Looks like they gave Jelwood the 3 and Duncan 1, but I can' see any Port or Geel player with the 2 which is very odd. Maybe they meant to give Danger the 2 and it hasn't shown or something?

Probably gave the 2 to the umps.

That trackers only good for picking and comparing different vote systems, some are always way off every year.

Have noticed Phantombrownlow aren't up and running this year...yet?

jvalles69

I'll have a look at my list and post my thoughts on team leaders when I get the chance.  I know one of my anomolies is I have Cameron equal with Kelly, but based on history don't see it happening.

Round 10

Geel 81 v PA 79
3. J.Selwood
2. P.Dangerfield
1. J.Polec

Think Selwood gets the nod over Danger for being better for longer, Danger had a few patches but wasnt as good overall.

Syd 75 v Haw 81
3. S.Burgoyne
2. L.Franklin
1. J.P.Kennedy

Toss up Burgoyne and Franklin, Burgoyne as the hawks won

WB 90 v StK 50
3. J.Stringer
2. J.Newnes
1. M.Wallis

Tough game, not many stand outs, dont think Bont is in the running as he really butchered his ball use by his standards and wasnt as influential as usual.

Melb 122 v GC 87
3. N.Jones
2. J.Garlett
1. C.Oliver

N.Jones to beat Oliver for most votes at Dees, calling it now.

Rich 81 v Ess 66
3. D.Martin
2. B.Ellis
1. B.Goddard

Clear 3 to to Dusty

Ade 143 v Fre 43
3. R.Sloane
2. R.Atkins
1. M.Crouch

Clear three to Sloane despite the coaches giving the nod to Crouch

Coll 129 v Bris 84
3. A.Treloar
2. S.Pendlebury
1. B.Grundy

Cant beleive Treloar didnt get a coaches vote, Pendles got 9 in the coaches and 3 in the predictor, definately ahead of Beams/Zorko for me who would need to go bigger in a bad loss to get the votes, though could get 1 vote instead of Grundy.

Carl 96 v NM 113
3. B.Gibbs
2. S.Higgins
1. J.Ziebell

Gibbs and Higgins the clear 3 and 2 though order could be argued. Gibbs I though better but in losing team.

WC 90 v GWS 98
3. C.Ward
2. J.Kelly
1. A.Gaff

Another tough game without a clear order, think Ward set it up.
