Time to go why would you waste your time and money on this loser
For one thing he is under contract.

IF... he can get his body (calves) right, and can return to half his ability... then its a win for Freo

QuoteFremantle are investigating the injured Harley Bennell for his strange behaviour while watching Peel Thunder's clash with Swan Districts.
Bennell was chatting with his cousin Traye Bennell at quarter time and three quarter time, interrupting an address from Thunder coaching staff in the process.
Bennell then left the ground and was spoken to by Dockers assistant coaches.

i have him in a keeper league i dont have much hope of him playing AFL again

He was chatting to his cousin (who was playing for Peel) at quarter time and 3 quarter time.  Except that he dragged him away to talk to him while the coach was addressing the team.

Roger Hayden is the Fremantle coach that talked to him.

Storm in a teacup really.  He shouldn't have pulled his cousin away to talk to him while the coach was addressing the players but its not a huge massive issue

Quote"The plan is for him to play. We had a meeting last week that he'd be playing in five weeks at Peel," Lyon told Fox Footy on Monday night.

Quite possible Ricochet but how would you react/act if you have gone through the injuries he has.  I would probably self medicate with alcohol as well.

Did your injury stop you from doing the only thing you are probably capable of doing?  I did my knee (PCL) and was out for 15 months and my basketball career evaporated and that was tough.  But it wasnt the only thing I had ever known, I still had an IT career.

Bennell has nothing other than footy and then he gets repeat injuries.

No of course not, but i've had some pretty bad runs and had a few surgeries/spent months in rehab. I also wasn't paid to be a professional footballer, injured or not.

Bennell was playing up before he got drafted
He was playing up at the GC
And now he's playing up here

I was willing to give him a chance when he came across, but enough is enough. He's not a kid any more. He needs to learn from his past mistakes and sort his shower out

Completely agree Rico. Ross thinks he'll be playing in 5 weeks time but I'll believe it when I see it.
