For a while now, people have wondered the fate of our Irish friends in this much loved competition. It's been no secret that a certain team has struggled to stay afloat in one of the most fierce contests the world has seen and any wondered if these were the famous last words of a coach on a sinking ship:

We did well to last so long! Shame we didn't last longer than our rivals Berlin :(.
