I was really impressed tonight with the defensive efforts of Hunt and Armfield! Both kept their opponents to only 1 kick......... :P

Marchbank 97SC is great but last year Lonergan and Emac both got 90's in round 1  ;D

How's The Nank going 120+ from just 8 possessions

Feel he was fortunate to get that but hey i'll take it. Kreuzer looked alot better for 121 to Nanks 114 (final scores) but as said i'll take it. :)

Isn't it very conveinient, three major SC picks in Nank, Marchbank, and Butler smash it in the bias-prone SC while having mid-range DT scores/basic stat lines ::)

Some odd stuff went on tonight, a mixture of scores not being correct through the game at times and some odd scaling.  :-\

No idea how Nank hit the ton. Martin probably should have scored 180. Martin and Murphy were the two best players on the ground.

I have Nank so i'll take it but I agree mate. Kreuzer gave him a touch up played a much better game imo and ends up 7 points better than Nank, doesn't seem right but it's the SC conundrum we've seen it before and used to it now. It's the nature of the beast and every now and then an anomaly occurs, tonight might of been one of those. Not bagging it I really enjoy playing it and more often than not I have no issue with the score breakdown in games but I can't deny every now and then i'm left scratching my head. Sometimes it's in your favour sometimes it isn't.

Apparently he was on 58 at HT but had something like 4 hitouts to advantage and a goal from 3 touches? I was trying to use the live fox sports stats so I have no idea how accurate they are. It was a weird first quarter because there wasn't a dominant ball winner on the field. I think the highest possession winner at half time was Doc with 14. Maybe they were weighting touches more because of the spread.

Kreuzer was huge tonight, he is showing what he can do when he is fit and ready to go. The interesting thing here is that Kreuz isn't a dominating tap ruck and smashed the hit outs. It's just something to consider with both players.

Nankervis’s score is clearly correct when you actually realise how much impact he had.

27 Hit Outs â€" 9 to advantage
7 of his 8 possessions were kicks, 6 of them contested!!!
All were classed long kicks
3 of them were clearances
2 were rebound 50
2 were inside 50
87.5% DE%
No Clangers
4 marks â€" 3 contested
3 tackles
2 goals

I don’t expect those types of performances too often, but it showed me that he has enough to be confident he will average 90+

Where did you get the HTA state from LS?

Nankervis had a HTA% of 48% which is unbelievable. Gawn went at 34% last year. Sample size is small, but signs are good. #SuperCoach
Which would mean he had 13 HTA
