Been debating whether to put my team up but eh here it goes, im confident il beat most of my main leagues contenders (sorry dad and my casual footy mates :P ) but i have fanfooty leagues and overall postions to conquer :P
Im struggling with getting the right defence and forward balance, i love my midfield and im willing to take a risk on my rucks.
OFC rookies can and probaly will change ! except Taranto and SPP
Cheers everyone and roast away

Looks pretty good mate, that's a good effort!

I'd try to play around with the forward line a little. Feels a tad weak for now. I love TJ Lynch and Toby but I reckon there are slightly better options available (Dahl, Caddy, Touk). I think people are overrating Ryder a bit.

Mids and backs look good though!

And you've got my boy Nank, so I can't fault that.

Thanks mate!
I have had Touk a few times and i am just not convinced, and Caddy too!
I just feel Lynch is going to win the coleman and improve immensely on last season! but i have been hurt by tall forwards before

Bully

Good looking team, McCarthy is an interesting pick, not a bad one for job security but may be a roller coaster for scoring.

Maybe a rollercoaster but he is now Freos number 1 target up forward and i love his price for his potential

Nice looking team Hawka.

Batting deep in the mids and light in defense, good strategy points wise but I think you may stall on turnover... You will most likely need to upgrade Marchbank, Hampton, EVW, Hibberd, Taranto and McCarthy, plus Beams, JOM, Nank, Sandi, Roughy and Ryder aren't certainties for keepers. That's potentially a lot of cash to come up with. Obviously rookies are a little thin on the ground, but I think there's more available up front - would look at cutting one of your prem mids, shift Taranto back into mids, bring in another fwd rookie, and a prem defender. The problem I see is the bulk of your rooks are defenders, which typically don't score as well.

Also I know you've said rooks will likely change, but I'd be thinking about a backup plan for EVW and Hibberd, in no way confident they're going to get a run...

Hawka

Defender rooks could change !
Taranto is my pick for the rising star and McCarthy should be freos main target up forward
But i agree Kiwi the amount of Midpricers is risky but with the rookie situation this year, maybe we have to roll the dice

Ringo

Light in defence structure with only 2 prems.  Risky but may pay off for you.
Concerned a little with Greene at R2. Has been down for last 2 years averaging 83 and 90 and can not see this changing with the introduction of Lids as well. Go with gut though.
Await rookie selections.

I like it because there are good uniques with priddis & lynch (Green & JPK to a lesser extent).

Only comment is that I don't think you can go passed dahlhaus
