I'm really sorry about posting my team without giving feedback too anyone else, but I have been so busy I haven't had time to follow the JLT except for the Pies.  If you need any feedback about any Pies players I can probably help out but beyond that any feedback I give would be useless.  Anyway that is probably why I need some help/advice/feedback for my team.  It's pretty much a GnR strategy (above $500k or below $250k) except for Beams and the starting rucks.

Backs: H. Shaw, T. Adams, R. Laird, C. Marchbank, C. Hampton, A. Ottens (E. Vickers-Willis, T. Stewart)
Mid: P. Dangerfield, S. Pendlebury, J. Kennedy, A. Treloar, N. Fyfe, D. Beams, T. Taranto, S. Powell-Pepper (J. Barrett, J. Pickett, M. Hibberd)
Ruc: T. Nankervis, A. Sandilands (J. Witts)
Fwd: N. Riewoldt, L. Dahlhaus, J. Macrae, W. Hoskin-Elliott, O. Florentine, B. Parfitt (D. Houston, B. Eddy)
Cash left: $107,100

The back line looks good. I jumped off Adams this weekend because he keeps getting dinged up and has a history of picking up those kinds of injuries through the season and missing games. I think if he stays healthy he is a great pick so I can't fault it, but it is something to consider.

Mids look pretty good, I think come round 1 you will want to start Taranto up forward and you might want to do some shuffling around. If you're happy with a few of the rookies you have it might be worth shifting Hibberd back, Adams into the midfield and Stewart onto the field. The reason I say that is I don't think Florent will get a game and there is a good chance that Stewart will outscore a few of the bottom end forward rookies.

I think the rucks could end up a complete mess. Sandi I think is a great pick because the only question with him is health, scoring wise you know what you're going to get. Witts I like as cover at R3, but I wouldn't start both Nank and Witts let alone on the same line.

Forward line is nice, like I mentioned with the mid rookies I don't think Florent will play and I'm not sure if he is going to score well early in the year.

2nd go:
Backs: H. Shaw, T. Adams, R. Laird, C. Marchbank, C. Hampton, A. Ottens (E. Vickers-Willis, T. Stewart)
Mid: P. Dangerfield, S. Pendlebury, J. Kennedy, A. Treloar, N. Fyfe, D. Beams, T. Taranto, S. Powell-Pepper (J. Barrett, M. Hibberd, B. Parfitt)
Ruc: B. Grundy, A. Sandilands (L. Strnadica)
Fwd: N. Riewoldt, L. Dahlhaus, J. Macrae, W. Hoskin-Elliott, K. Turner, O. Florentine (T. Miles, B. Eddy)
Cash left: $14,100

Have basically swapped:
Pickett for Turner via moving Parfitt to the mids
Nankervis for Grundy
Witts for Strnadica
Houston for Miles

Thoughts?  Better or Worse?  Little nervous about the lack of cover for Sandilands if he gets rested but this strategy basically gives me 14 keepers including Sandi and Beams.  I may be able to get Witts on the Ruck bench by downgrading Riewoldt to someone around Caddy's price and Shaw to someone around Howe's price.

I actually really like it. It's different to a lot of teams I've seen not going with one or all three of O'Meara/Swallow/Roughy, but it could pay off if those rookies end up being serviceable.

Good decision to not back up Sandi.    Unless you pick a Nank or Ryder for there own value as Fwds you will need to trade out Sandi if a Long Term injury occurs.   If short term you can assess as required.   If he lasts 7-9 rounds you can upgrade to whoever is performing.

You always have the option of grabbing cover later down the track. If Sandi goes down early you're probably better off trading him anyway.
