QuoteMeanwhile, Michael Apeness injured his left knee playing for Peel in a practice match against West Perth at the weekend.

The 22-year-old, who suffered a tear in his posterior cruciate ligament, does not require surgery but will wear a brace on his knee and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

The big fella just can't get a break can he.Be good to see him get a good run at the game.

I still rate him higher than Taberner but he just needs to stay healthy

anchorman

I agree, but we need to see him on the park a lot more than we do.If he and Taberner don't pull their socks up, they may find that Sean Darcy has moved a long way ahead of them.

Doesn't sound good for Alex Pearce though.Seems his leg has not healed and has an infection from the screws etc.

I am shattered for the the young fella.Hopefully he will go away and prepare well for next season.A shame how these things happen to certain players.
What is the news on Alex Pearce? Is he likely to be back this season does any one know?
