Stewart to Lloyd is the move for me. I don't think you get enough of a points jump Newman to Lloyd and I think Newman is a perfect d7 for the rest of the year

Newman is one bad game away from being dropped.

I disagree

Been in their best for several weeks running now

I'd be shocked to see him dropped tbh

A few bad games then maybe, but from what I've seen over the past few matches he has been good and in their best

Mongoose528

Stewart and Willow will turn into Lloyd in round 14 for me.

He reminds me so much of Titchell, and the way Horse treated him. Had to star to stay in the team.

I was shocked to see Tom Mitchell dropped....

It's hard to rule anything out with Horse honestly

RaisyDaisy

Haha, yep fair point lads!

As someone who traded out Newman early I'd be very happy to see him dropped :P

King_Robbo

No chance he gets dropped after one bad game. He's easily in their best 22 and and important cog in their defence. He's their second best kick in the team after Lloyd.

GoLions

Is "LLoyd" annoying anyone else? :P

Is Newman to Lloyd even worth doing?

That's the trade that I'm trying to decide on. I think it probably is and the reason being for consistency.

Lloyd has played 12 games, and if you take out his concussion game then 9 of his 11 he has scored above 90, with the other two both in the 80s. Which is exactly what you want from a defender.

Newman has played 9 games, to go above 90 only 4 times, granted 3 of those have been in his last 5 games.

Fun little stat... if you take out Lloyd's top score and bottom score (114 & 4), then he has an average of 97.9. Whereas if you do the same for Newman (151 & 59) he has an average of 88. So 10 point difference between the two.

The other question is can Newman sustain this scoring for the year considering it's his first year playing at the highest level? I would be surprised to see if he can.

That's just my thoughts though :)
