I didn't think playing 0s counted?? Unless it's been changed in recent years?

There was a time that getting zero didn't count.  I think it may of had to do with the computer program in place, because a negative score did count.
  Almost like the program would see a zero and not count it.  Sees a negative score and does count it, since that player must of played.

I did write to them saying that once a player starts the game they should count, no matter of their score.
    Their response was a Zero player hasn't influenced the game(which is incorrect), while a negative player has.
... Anyhow the rule was changed in the following season.  I'm happy to take some credit for the change.  :)

How so? Champion Data ranks hands out 3300 points per game using their system to determine which player have the most influence on a game of footy. That's why it's standardised at the same number each week, that's why there's scaling, and that's why they update their system every year based on what is more relevant. Remember CD don't make the scoring system for SuperCoach primarily.

So under their system yes, a player with 0 points has had no influence on the game. And a player with minus points has negatively influenced his team. That's what a players score stands for by definition.

Well once you step over the white line you influence the game in some way.
  A player could give away a free kick then get a tackle or something followed by injury. Score zero, but does that mean he had no influence?

Taberner on the weekend was on like 8 points mid way through 4th quarter.  If he had of made some clangers/ free kicks at the end, he could of had zero.
   Plays a full game, he certainly influenced the game. Does he not?

I reckon Heath Shaws finished as a premo but I am giving him till round 14 to prove me wrong.

If he is still playing like shower which I think he will be then I will just sideways trade him to Lloyd.
