Don't like any of above mentioned once they have proved themselves this year then they come into calculations next year
lloyd was huge late last year lol

Josh Smith is a sneaky pod breakout candidate. Scores of 90 and 118 in jlt. Been pushing into the mid from half back. If I didn't have Howe and Adams I'd strongly consider. Haven't heard him mentioned anywhere

To many other good defenders this year to go someone who might only average 84 again like last year  ;)

I'm currently running:

Docherty; Laird; J. Smith; Z. Jones; Marchbank; Hampton (Otten; Stewart)

I really want to start with 4 rookies (Otten on the field & Vickers-Willis on the bench), but I'm feeling a little nervous about the Rookie defenders and have subsequently upgraded Vickers-Willis to Josh Smith.

I normally run with a straight down the middle Guns 'n Rookies set up, but for the first time in many seasons I'm taking a mid-priced approached, with currently eight players in the 250-450k bracket.

If by Round 6 my season is stuffed, I'll pack it in early and come back in 2018. I just can't see another strategy working this year.

Swans supporter here, it's not the mid time that gets him scoring, he's moved from the wing to racking them up off halfback. Both the HS and SCP have pumped him up, so farking dirty, as he was going to be a great POD. He'll most likely play 22 and would be very surprised if he doesn't go 95ish...

Price 488k
averaging 98
scores of  89 114 99 98 84 100 106

pretty good consistent numbers.

hes quite cheap compared to others and there aren't many premo around this year smashing it out.
Docherty, Adams Laird the top 3.
roberton avg 107 also but is 557k.

is he a good pick up? (I gotta get rid of the rooks and mid pricers 3 of which are in and out Newman Stewart Hibberd also EVW)

thanks all

GoLions

Looking at him for my D6, but guys like Yeo and Adams are more likely to shoot up in price so they're a higher priority for me atm.

RaisyDaisy

Will be grabbing him after his bye

Super consistent

jfitty

He'll be in that tier just below Docherty, Laird and Adams.

I'll most likely get him in this week myself. Scoring consistently, and I have to back the Horsham boys!

Capper

The top 5 i'm looking at are Docherty, Adams, Laird, Roberton, Shaw. Then at 6 i will either keep Jones or trade to Lloyd

SilverLion

IMO these 4 are locks for top 6:
Doch, Adams, Laird, Roberton

With these guys vying for the final 2 spots:
Simpson, Lloyd, Shaw

Sooo yeah would look at him, but not ahead of the first four I mentioned :)

tigertops

I have Adams Laird and Shaw. Doch will def come in when he drops in price.
roberton, can he continue, is he breaking out??
prob the same question with Lloyd??

don't know about shaw also. ill keep him but his scoring is shizen this year.....might not be in the top 6-7

Concussed due to a collision with Mitchell.

Gonna be mega cheap for me in a few weeks.  ;D

Dammit. It's lucky I had him before the start of the season. He's been so good for me, I can let him off for one poor score. At least he won't miss weeks.

Wish he had of scored 0 though lol
