What if the president is an asshole :P

I think trading is a key aspect for me to strengthen your team. Already used 3/5 trades!  ;D

Also, how are finals determined?  I was assuming it was based on total points overall, but then the golf round would have some effect on that?

TomK

Love the trading, wouldn't mind to see it implemented more often throughout the season.

In my previous 'survey' we discussed the scoring over finals. The consensus vote was to do cumulative points overall, meaning a total of the four weeks of finals will decide our winner. There's no planned knockout or head-to-head in finals, so anyone can win it as all will start with 0 points in the finals.

This may make it seem like there's no benefit in doing well throughout the earlier part of the year, but realistically, doing well earns you more gold, which can purchase more assets, which makes your team stronger and more likely to take out the whole damn thing. Of course, there's a fair chunk of luck involved, but it wouldn't be the UTG without it.

Cheers for the explanation.

First up got to say I'm enjoying this format, didn't think I would, but I'm glad I signed up.

Now onto another question, with the golf round, we have to submit a full side, will there be penalty for not fielding a position on the field?  Most of us are trading pretty hard to have a full team of golds, now if the players are in your squad then I guess you have to play them and I suspect most teams will have enough bench cover, but what if someone for some reason can't field a player?  Thinking any blank spaces should be penalised with a point value, maybe 75pts per position not filled?

Last year you copped 100 points for each donut. So if you have a premium and think they'll score 90s, then may as well play them and hope they don't go over 100 :P

We'll be rolling with the same thing again this year, 100 points per donut, so be wary!

What's the relton tier?

It's pretty special, there's only one available card in there though.

And I'd have to trade in my 8 plats to get it? No way in hell hahaha

Unless it was Gary Ablett or Dane Swan or Tom Rockliff when they averaged 130 :P

I'm gonna take a wild wild guess here and assume that FTC was taking the mickey and the only player available in the Relton tier is a guy with a name that sounds a lot like Belton Boberts.
