Consumables need to be named along with your actual team, so before lockout :)

I don't think consumables should be used in a rivalry round as you are only up against 1 other team, so using them gives a much bigger advantage than what they are worth.

Not sure that I agree it gives a "much bigger advantage", the effect is exactly the same as playing it any other week. In fact, you are actually jousting for less gold by going all out with the collectibles this week than by doing so and finishing first in a regulation week.

I see that point, you're effectively using it to beat 1 other person rather than all of the teams which is a massive advantage, but at the same time they were randomly pulled in packs for that teams use.

As I have already said, you are allowed to use them. It's not up for debate.

If your opponent wants to use all their collectibles to get over the line and get +45G, it's perhaps money, or in this case cards well spent. Rivalry Round has been in the fixture for some time now, and there has been nothing to suggest that you cannot use them. Collectibles can be used on any week except bronze/silver/gold weeks where the collectible is not of that rarity. (ie. no Gold Captain Cards in a Bronze Round)

It's rivalry round for a reason, the point is to get the win, not play it nice  ;)

Ah, that was in reference to home teams being given HGA as seen in many other competitions on this site. Of course the UTG has the HGA card instead so we were not giving any sort of advantages in the match-ups before our own collectibles came into play. Hopefully that resolves the confusion  :)

Due to a forum ban/suspension, Koop will be unable to participate in auctions, and will not be able to exchange cards over the course of his ban. However, Koop will still be able to purchase packs via an off-site personal message as to ensure he does not fall completely out of touch with the rest of the competition due to this ban.
